Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

To be honest we generally use the other cafe but made the mistake of being later than 2.15 meaning no food 🤔 . So we hot footed across the road for a hot drink and a panini. All very good and it is a nice...cafe. People have their favourites in the village though and……….,More

Half term trip to the Peak District with teenage boys. Popped in here for a very late lunch. Some places stop serving hot food within an hour of closing, not this place. Absolutely delicious hot lunches - chilli con carne went down really well. Top...quality ingredients, really tasty and clearly freshly made. Staff were lovely and as we had sat outside because it was so busy, one of the ladies popped out and gave us little cushions to sit on. Once it was quieter we headed inside for coffee and cake - wow! The lady even gave us a free coffee top up as they were closing and there was coffee left in the pot. Beautiful selection of quality gifts plus some wonderful art work. Would come back again to Eyam just to visit this cafe! Super good food, awesome staff - totally recommend.More

We've had a number of drinks and meals in Eyam Tea Rooms during September and October 2023. The service, food and staff are all superb! A lovely cafe in a beautiful village with a rich history in the Peak District. Caters for all dietary requirements...and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended, and thanks to all the staff. We will be back!More

Stayed here but didn’t actually make it down to eat but tea room looked lovely. Accommodation was gorgeous though - lovely kitchen, huge apartment with a well appointed bathroom. Dog enjoyed it as did the toddler. The annexe next door was occupied for one of...the nights and the noise transmitted very easily so bear in mind that you’ll get fairly cosy with your new neighbours! Worth it despite this and we’ll definitely be back - but will bring the grandparents to baby sit and also occupy the annexe. Hopefully we’ll make it downstairs to try out the actual tea room!!More

Just lovely, staff friendly, efficient and great with children! Food served promptly and a good selection of toys for children. I was a sole parent to two children and not once did I feel like we were an inconvenience!! Will definitely be back.

They can’t cope. We found a table and then queued for ten minutes to place our order and pay. Then we waited 45 minutes for our food to come. Whilst the soup was perfectly acceptable, I literally could have cooked it myself in that time....They deal with all orders sequentially so even a bowl of soup took an age. Unacceptable service. By the time it arrived I was too hungry and fed up to enjoy it. Wouldn’t return.More

Lovely breakfast, very professional and friendly service, we’ve had several stops here and it’s consistently great. Maybe put tables where the bike rack is as that gets the sun!

Lovely little tea shop in a good spot with lovely staff. Food was fresh but there was a very long wait. I had a panini which cost £6.96, wish I hadn't bothered. Hardly any ingredients on it, I was really disappointed. Must have been a...teaspoonful of cranberry on each half, a small slice of ( cold) brie and not even a full slice of bacon on the whole thing. The bacon was strangely cut into strips...I had 6 bits! The hot drinks we had ordered obviously came before the food..20 minutes 😒 appreciate they were busy but doesn't explain lack of ingredientsMore

Visited the Tea Rooms, beautiful place, fantastic food (the Steak & Ale pie is to die for). The staff are exemplary with on point troubleshooting, nothing is too much trouble which places all of them in the consumate professionals category. My visit today was due...to being on vacation to Eyam and therefore not in the official capacity with regards to reviews Excellent choice of gifts with some fantastic artwork and of course well crafted gifts. My full compliments to the owner and staff. Long may you continue. Best wishes from my wife and myself (I bought the owls and our ticket got lost). Respect xxMore

There is generally parking in the Street near to the Tearoom. There is a step up into the Tearoom and the doorway is the original doorway which is quite narrow

Yes we are more than happy to have furry friends in the Tearooms- we have had up to 5 dogs at one time but their different owners are very good and we have never had a problem. Looking forward to meeting yours!
