We fixed a half way lunch on our walk having read good reviews and weren’t disappointed! Great well made and presented local produce which beat hands down most of the local pubs for value and quality .....many of them don’t open on Monday anyway! We also took a takeaway treat for our granddaughter and bought some artwork for home. Good job Eyam T rooms we’ll be back!

Whilst staying in Eyam last week we visited the Tea Rooms three times - once for morning coffee and twice for breakfast. The service was excellent on all three occasions. The full English breakfast was delicious. One member of the party is gluten free and was pleased to be offered a choice of brown of white GF bread. They catered for all our fussy bacon requirements! We highly recommend this lovely cafe and would definitely visit again if we return to Eyam.

Popped in for a bite to eat after our walk. Lovely prompt service, food lovely and fresh and the tea was served with an extra pot of water without us asking for it. COVID rules being adhered to. Definitely recommend a visit.

Went during an Eat Out to Help Out day so very busy. After being seated for 15 minutes had to go inside to remind the staff that we had arrived for our pre booked afternoon tea. Cleared this had not been communicated to the kitchen. We had reserved an outside table. My seating position overlooked the bins. Sort of ruined the experience so asked to change tables. Not the fault of the tea room but the property next door also had the builders in so was not the most tranquil atmosphere. The afternoon tea itself was decent as opposed to memorable.

Ordered hot food, a traybake and some hot drinks, was told there may be a bit of a delay. Received the traybake and drinks within 10 mins. After 30 mins, asked about our hot food, was told we were next in line to be served. 5 mins later saw people who arrived later than us being served hot food. Waited a further 5 mins before telling them to cancel hot food. No apology given, just told that was the best they could do, received the money back for the hot food and left. We appreciate mistakes happen but don't like being fobbed off, very poor customer service, will not return to this tea room. Our experience over at the Village Green was the total opposite.

Eyam and the surrounding countryside is just beautiful and this little tea room fits in perfectly. There was a lovely menu plus a good choice of cakes and I had a cream tea, with fresh tea; homemade scones and proper clotted cream. Really tasty. There is the option to sit either outside or inside and the owners have done everything possible for cleanliness and social distancing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I felt comfortable eating there after nearly 4 months of being ‘locked inside’. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Popped in a couple of times and had the best afternoon tea ever on our second visit. The cakes were lovely and the service was superb and to top it off I purchased my favourite cake to take home and when I opened it they had put two in, as if my day couldn’t get any better. Many thanks

We arrived at 1pm , the drinks order was taken promptly, drinks were served then food was ordered . We ordered a cheese toasty and 2 scones . Approximately an hour later the toasty arrived , we then waited around 10 minutes for the scone but nothing appeared , by which stage half of our party had eaten . We then enquired about the scones and they had been missed off the order . The lady serving then apologised and said “ we are extremely busy , I will just get the table next to us food served then I will bring them . My wife protested that some of us had already eaten smd that the table next to us had only been there a short time , so the lady brought the scones promptly . They did not look that busy so cannot understand the delay . Will not be returning . Very simple food should have been 30 minutes max .

We booked for lunch - to build our own "afternoon tea" depending what caught our eyes, what a great idea! It was a rainy day, so we started with a couple of lovely toasties and an ale for one of us ... then followed up with scone & cream & jam and a pot of tea. To finish off we had a large slice of almond bakewell tart and an amazing peanut stack (chocolate brownie, peanut buttercream & crunchy layers all topped with peanuts & caramel). The sausage rolls looked great, the biscoff millionaire slice looked really tempting but we couldn't manage another morsel so headed off full & happy into the rain for our 4 mile walk back. Excellent service, good spacing & cleanliness and very tasty food.

We visited this afternoon after a stroll around Eyam. We were welcomed with smiley faces straight away. I have coeliac disease so I need completely gluten free food with no cross contamination. They are the only place I have visited to ask my severity of allergy and I felt extremely safe and happy to eat here! We had lunch which was amazing and I had my first gluten free scone that didn’t fall apart 🎉 It was warm and tasted amazing!!! Definitely recommend and we will be back soon!

My husband and I had a late lunch of Bacon Brie and Cranberry Panani closely followed by a Bakewell Tart, all of which was delicious. The owner was a lovely lady, who despite being short handed made the time for a chat. We sat outside and wore a mask when we needed to go inside as did the staff and there were hand sanitisers available. The menus were covered in plastic and everywhere was very clean, inside and out.

Sweet little tea room that also does B&B. You can have breakfast ranging from porridge to the full cooked. At lunch time there are baps, toasties, sandwiches as well as other choices The homemade cakes are beautiful. Do not pass this this little gem by.

Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. Very clean throughout and ample amount of distanced seating outside. Gluten free flapjack abvailable and tasted lovely, as did the ice creams. Our Son dropped the top Of his ice cream on the floor and they happily replaced it. Very kind! Thankyou!

Called for coffee at this lovely tea shop and the cakes etc looked so good we couldn't resist. I had a chorizo and mozzarella panini freshly made... delicious, whilst my daughter couldn't resist the large scone beautifully served with jam and cream and my cousin had a breakfast cob with her choice of breakfast items. The service and staff were lovely and friendly. It was a great start to the day.

Lovely tea room with a variety of cakes and food on offer. Would recommend the carrot cake and the peanut butter stack as both very nice. Only downside was they seemed slow on clearing the tables so ended up sitting at table with previous peoples dirty pots which were only cleared away when our food was brought over. Otherwise delightful visit
