Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a wonderful stay at the Miners’ Arms; the room was very comfortable, everything was spotless and the pub downstairs was delightful. We had a fish and chip supper in the pub which was excellent and we had excellent service! We would highly recommend...and look forward to staying there again.More

Booked a table for lunch. We had the traditional Sunday roast it was absolutely delicious. The beaf was tender and the veg was really nicely cooked and the plates were hot . The service was really good with attentive staff and there’s a good selection...of beers at-a reasonable price. It’s very comfy and cozy . I wish it was in our village , we’d be there regularly.More

Incredibly unfriendly owner, food only so so. I would avoid. There are far better places to eat in the village and in the surrounding villages, don’t waste your money!

We had an amazing Sunday lunch here; roast Beef/Pork with all the trimmings. Super hot, fresh and tasty; it’s well worth a visit. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating for our family.

An absolute gem. My husband and I stayed for one night along with our dog. The Miners Arms is in the most beautiful village of Eyam. We were made very welcome on arrival and our room was a double bed, with bath/shower, ground floor with...our own door access. Great for us with the dog. We had an evening meal in the pub. I had roast pork dinner and my husband had individual steak, mushroom and ale pie. We had a side dish of vegetables. The meal was well presented and tasted delicious. For dessert I had the banoffee roulade and my husband had bread and butter pudding. I thought the price for the evening meal was very reasonable. Again both were really good. Did wonder if it would get noisy as our room was on the front of the building but no. It was so peaceful. Next morning we were looking forward to the full English breakfast and it didn’t disappoint us. Piping hot and again so good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.More

Had Sunday Lunch here and it was fabulous and very nicely cooked. LOADS of beef and all the rest, veg, roasties, gravy and yorkie. Full as a butcher's dog after but still ordered dessert which was beautiful presented. Service was excellent and very helpful and...friendly. In an idyllic location and considering it was moderately busy, was very peaceful setting. We could hear the birds as we ate and drank. Gorgeous view. from the beer garden too. Will definitely visit again when we're next in the area.More

Great place! Stayed here on a walking break with my friend. Pub downstairs is nicely done out recently. The rooms are very clean with tea making facilities and dog friendly too. Tasty breakfast and really enjoyed our dinner (we had the fish and chips). Some...great post walk Eyam beer :) The staff really made it - friendly and welcoming. I was a bit poorly one morning and they could not have been kinder or more helpful. Big car park, we were able to leave the car before check in and go for a walk. Nice stay, good value, would happily return.More

We had a 2 night stay with friends, a lovely gem of a place in a wonderful location. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms clean and comfortable. Food and drink were excellent and at reasonable prices. The pub has a large car...park, which is surprising in such a picturesque and quaint location. No hesitation in recommending.More

Wonderful welcoming pub for both people and pooches. Heartily recommend the local ale & although we didn’t eat, the aroma from the food was divine. Top notch visit, will definitely be back & now we know they do rooms, we’re very tempted to stay over!

Very traditional village pub. Quite a small menu, but a good mix of typical pub food and more unusual dishes. The venison, roast turkey and steak pie were all beautifully cooked and arrived piping hot. We also appreciated having large bowls of vegetables and chips...placed on the table which we could help ourselves to. The lemon cheesecake was also excellent. All very good value too. Will certainly be back.More
