The food in this pub is amazing. Think I've tried almost everything on the menu now. The Thai Green curry is a must. Highly recommend it. The selection of craft beers and gins is brilliant for a rural pub. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Live bands at weekends which makes this pub an all rounder.

My two siblings and I had lunch. Friendly service, good pint of Guinness. Chowder was excellent as were the fries, the crab and salmon was good but not great. The tempura prawns avoid they were not good. Overall well worth a visit to this small town pub with great food.

This is an excellent bar and the bar food is amazing. Try the monkfish and prawn curry . Rochester is very suitable for families or even large groups. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I have never been disappointed with the food here. Excellent.

Visited on a Friday in early November not really expecting to be able to have lunch. The lunch menu was quite nice as were the specials. The girls serving couldn't have been more helpful. I had a monkfish curry and my wife had haddock. Both were superb and quite fresh. My daughter had sausage and chips and the chips were... More

Love going to Roche's Bar for dinner. Food is delicious. Gluten Free is gathered for in that most of the menu is gluten free by default. Décor has lots of character. Staff are really helpful.

Typical Iris pub serving good food, some dishes much better (and better value) than others. I had some scallops served with bacon and a garlic/parsley sauce, absolutely delicious and copious (11,90€). My wife and the sea food chowder, also delicious (6,95€). I ordered the sea bass (no price indicated, then when asked, the waitress told me 14*, then went back... More

Roches was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Casual and comfortable atmosphere, a bit chilly if you are near the door. Between us we ordered a calamari starter, a hamburger, and scallops. All were very well done. In addition we have enough leftovers for dinner tonight.

Myself and 5 good friends visited for lunch after a beautiful visit to Duncannon's lovely sandy beach. The pub is a little outdated but the food more than made up for it. We had goats cheese tartlet..crab claws.. mussels..sizzling prawns and toasted sandwiches all washed down with a few beers..couldn't fault the food it was great.

One of those typical Irish pubs which offer the best of what anyone wants. We were there late afternoon, great bar food menu still available. Plenty of nooks & crannies to sit in, fabulous choice of craft beers available but we didn't get past the Guinness! Mussels were superb as were the Seafood Chowder & soup of the day (vegetable)...
