We stayed here on our first night into our walk following the Harcamlow Way. The room was very comfortable, good shower and well appointed. My recommendation for light sleepers would be not stay in room 9 as we did. Room 10 appears to be the...gateway into a room above. Footsteps and closing doors were heard from about 6am. The restaurant serves excellent Thai food. My partner had, what must be a signature dish, whole sea bass in a tamarind sauce - she loved it!More
We were fortunate to stay at The Three Tuns with some couples whilst celebrating a friends big birthday. The accommodation was fantastic, wonderfully clean and the air con was a godsend in the hot weather. We are in the pub on the Friday - a...fabulous Thai menu. The tempura vegetables were to die for !! Chris and Karen were brilliant landlords who made us feel so welcome. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to explore the area or just have a great meal and decent pint. Thanks Chris and Karen, we will definitely be back.More
Had overnight stay- had prebooked our breakfast food the night before with a time specified Went to pub in morning all locked up ond in darkness Tried the keys they gave us which opened the pub tracked down chef who just said no one had...told her we were coming The bar was full of dirty glasses no table laid , not offered a drink or asked what food we wanted no apology She was more concerned how we got in pub Very unwelcoming and awkward for us so we left as had no idea how long it would take to clear bar set up table and get breakfast ready which was no good to us We had packed up car so decided to go which was not unreasonable as it was dire customer service and why would we stay in such a situation we were not in the wrong but made to feel we were This pub would not refund a penny as said breakfast is complimentary !! So we never got what we should have as it should have been set up and ready Never even said come back another time to have a breakfast as it should have been Feel they have zero respect for paying customers and no idea how to handle a situation that has gone wrong and actually could not care less In the end they didn't have the decency to reply to all our emails Shame on you 3 tunsMore

Staying in the village for three nights on our first night we visited the Three Tuns and were greeted with a friendly welcome, we ask if we could have a table for our evening meal no problem a comprehensive menu and a good selection of...beers . Food selected it came beautifully presented and very tasty, staff attentive but not over the top. We had previously book before for Friday night again friendly welcome and excellent food , the added bonus was the live music playing in the garden were family’s were also enjoying all the Three Tuns had to offer. I would highly recommend a visit you will not be disappointed. My only regret is that I live so far away.More
Called in after cricket match having not booked a table but seated straight away by julia who provided excellent customer service. Very good meal grandson enjoyed it. Met one of our relations had nice evening together. Can thoroughly recommend premises.
Had a fantastic 2 nights stay here whilst visiting Duxford museum. The rooms are lovely, but the pub is fantastic! Wonderful landlord and great staff. The Thai food is authentic and excellent. The pub is VERY DOG FRIENDLY! Love that! Well-deserved 5 stars.
Wow! We visited this place as we were passing through. It was early Friday evening and the pub had a fantastic atmosphere. Full of locals catching up, villagers swinging by to collect their takeaways and lots of couples/groups enjoying the most wonderful Thai food. We...recently ate at a small independent London Thai restaurant and the food was very special. I thought it couldn’t be beaten but the meal here was INCREDIBLE! Depth of flavour was amazing, green Thai curry superb. Pad Thai fresh(not sticky!), the most wonderful prawns which were so large and delicious I felt like I was eating lobster. A wonderful find and next time I think we’ll make a detour just to experience again . Your village is very lucky to have you!More
We came here from out of town with local relatives. I have to say I am a great lover of Thai food and this was the best I’ve had in a long time. The crispy squid was out of this world and all of our...meals were absolutely gorgeous. It was very busy and yet the service was exemplary. It was the type of meal you just want to carry on eating even though you’re full. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back again. The prices were very reasonable too.More
Pre booked a table for 7 family members to celebrate daughters 48th birthday. Made very welcome by the owners and their staff. Very pleasant evening especially the 2 granddaughters who enjoyed it. Will call again. Can recommend

Went at short notice [booked] and had an excellent meal. Food good, friendly welcome and pleasant hardworking staff. This was our first visit and we will go again!
We have eaten at the Three Tuns on many occasions but last night was truly exceptional: the food and, particularly the service, was excellent. The pub was really busy but despite this the service was superb: the whole team worked tirelessly and were so impressive....The food was absolutely fantastic. The Thai fishcakes, seabass, prawns with onions and garlic and chilli vegetables were all excellent.More
Having been on a local wine tour at Chilford Hall Vineyard with friends (which I would recommend), we booked 2 double rooms for the night. We arrived at the pub mid-afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly landlord who quickly sorted our drinks and...we settled in a cosy lounge area. There is lots of outside seating with most of it being covered plus 4/5 individual summer houses where families/friends were enjoying their meals. Adjacent to these were our rooms, which were situated in what looked like an old barn with individual rooms side by side. The rooms have a large double bed, dressing table, tea/coffee making facilities and there is a decent size bathroom with quite a large shower. A perfect size and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a lovely thai meal in the evening which was delicious and fell into our comfortable beds after a long day. We booked breakfast for 8am which was included in our B&B price and was a full English with tea/coffee etc. This too was delicious and set us up for the day. I would highly recommend this pub not only for the food, but also the accommodation. We will definitely be returning here in the future.More
We only dropped in as we were passing and stumbled across the best Thai food we have had, for a very long while. Piping hot, wonderfully fresh and crunchy veg, plentiful, great prices. The dishes were complete, no need to add rice, veg sides etc,...a dish is a complete meal. The kind of place you want to keep a secret, I have no doubt we will take big de-tours on future trips to visit again, and again. We had the Green curry and stir fried chicken in chilli oil, fantastic.More
