Hired the Hay Barn for a surprise 60th birthday. The team at The George Inn helped plan the event to perfection. The room is private, warm, beautifully decorated and full of character, seating for 40 and a bar available. I was recommended The George Inn as a place for a good pub lunch and we were not disappointed - I love a pub lunch and this was one of the best pub lunches I've ever had! The food was really yummy - fresh, good...portions - I had the curry of the day and it was so tasty - my daughter stole my poppadom! I had a glass of wine too which was a very good chardonnay. The pub was a bit further out that we would usually travel for a pub lunch but it was worth it and we'll definitely be visiting again.More

Staying at Leeds Castle for a few days we have now eaten at the George Inn twice! The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! Large portions (beat us every time) and very tasty. Would heartily recommend anyone to go here.

After a long day at Leeds Castle we decided to pop five minutes up the road to this pub and we were not disappointed. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was amazing (although watch out the portions are huge) and very reasonably...priced. We would definitely recommend!More

We asked were to go to eat from staff at Leeds Castle and they recommended the George. This place was brilliant, from walking in the door we were made to feel welcome by both the owners & the staff. The food was excellent, both from...a culinary & value for money point of view. It was nice to find a traditional pub serving traditional pub food. We even managed to share a few jokes with a couple of the locals. We would definitely go back there just a shame we live 120 miles away.More
