We were staying in Caerleon and our hosts took us to this pub. What a great time! Everyone there was so friendly. Loved meeting the locals and having a pint of Thatchers! Cant wait to go back.

If you want a traditional village pub with great beer and even greater freshly cooked food this is it. Family run for many years it is fantastic and comfortable like an old pair of slippers . I love it and you will too.

Excellent food and service. Food isn't served during the evening but the lunchtime menu is very good and the food is home made. It is a quaint pub and very friendly.
