Just returned from another visit to this wonderful pub. You can see why it’s pub of the year for the second year running. Great staff and great food

Popped in for the 1st time. Had the best liver and bacon ever on the Island. Staff were friendly and efficient. My other guest's also enjoyed their food. Although, it has a mixed decor and parts look more like a cafe, the food more than...makes up for it. Wide selection of Ales as you would expect from a real ale pub. Well worth a visit.More

This is my second visit this month. The food is excellent and plenty of it. My son is in the Royal Marines and has a healthy appetite. He said he could eat the pie and chips every day of the week. To balance this review...I think their has to be a negative. That is, their was so much food on our plates we had no room for pudding. Looking forward to my next visit to this gem on the Isle of WightMore

We had a Sunday roast beef and it was the best roast we have ever had eating out . There was plenty of meat and fresh veg and the roast potatoes were lovely . The price was so reasonable compared to other pubs on the...island . The staff are so friendly and attentive . Would fully recommend.More

This is now my favourite place for fish and chips on the island. Freshly cooked and not preheated as you find in some places. If you have a big appetite then this is the place to be. Price wise, slightly under the average. Looking forward...to my next visit.More

Haven’t been out for a long time due to Covid but The Travellers did not disappoint. Really Covid aware and everything such as sanitiser, QR code etc all in place. We didn’t go for food this time but the music and yet again this was...a great evening. Great music, great beer, great atmosphere would more could you want. Well done for keeping it up and providing the great service you do.More

Been here several times and never had a bad experience other than my favourite homemade pie being sold out ( but proves it’s amazing ) I would recommend booking ahead during busy periods as can be busy. Loads of indoor and outdoor seating. As for...the 1 star review I think it’s funny that the USER left a 5star review about 1yr ago and no other to anyone business. Also last time I was in the pub having a meal they had just told a staff member that her services are no longer needed as she wasn’t pulling her weight I heard a mate stating they would leave a bad reviewMore
