We didn't think we can find any restaurant open in Carces. But we were in for a great surprise. Not only was this restaurant open, the food was excellent and the service was great! The three of us had the red mullet and one had the La Plancha Mer. It was the best meal we had and of good value.

From the outside this restaurant has little to commend itself but once inside on the lower floor it is a delight with a stone vaulted ceiling. The food is competent and flavoursome and good value and the service is good and efficient.

We had the duck and some gambas. Tasted ok, but not something that would make me come back if I visit again.

Very nice family owned restaurant off the beaten path. The food is VERY good, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is darling. Our French friends found this little gem for us. We had a wonderful dinner and yummy desserts. Downstairs is an evening bar with twinkle lights on the ceiling. We enjoyed this little gem.

A truly good restaurant. Very friendly staff (owners?) and great food. The seafood starters were fresh and truly excellent. The main courses were well balanced and highly satisfying. Nice deserts ended a fine evening. A must if in Carcés.

Froday, 5 Sept 2014 we had dinner with a befriended French couple in this special small restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and on request the owner showed us around in his nice establishment. Because of the very fine wheather we choose to have dinner on their terras. All of us selected a fish/gamba meal. We were pleasantly surprised with the... More

For the last night of our holidays, on a Sunday, five of us went for what we hoped would be a nice traditional French meal. What we got was one of the worst meals I've ever had and the rudest, most unimaginable response from the staff I've ever experienced in France. We ordered an array of starters and mains which... Excellent local fresh food, local wines and unusual friendly and pleasant service for a reasonable price. Original decor and layout. Highly recommend.
