9 Friends catch up for Saturday lunch. Haven't visited the Guinea in many years. Lovely atmosphere, food was delish and made to feel very welcomed by all staff. We had a great catch-up and will return again.. thank you all at the Guinea Pub.

Popped in mid week for lunch. Warm welcome, pleasant surroundings and very nice food. Varied menu though vegetarian options a bit limited.

Absolutely superb Afternoon Tea, fresh sandwiches- loved the home cooked ham! The scones were melt in the mouth - wide range of cakes and a trifle shot - definitely Sherry! Gorgeous chocolate dipped strawberries

Not happy with the food on a Sunday, fine during the week , manager not very nice , dog friendly place

The afternoon tea was just fantastic. Table lay-out and presentation were fabulous. Great service. Different to your average afternoon tea. Really enjoyed it. Excellent value for money.

Called in a couple of weeks ago to book a table for 12 people. They were already very busy on the requested date but fitted us in perfectly with only a slight adjustment to our booking time. A lovely family roast dinner. Starters spot on, great to have different size roasts to choose from, even catered for a couple of fussy 'no gravy' kids! Cauliflower cheese delicious. Staff all friendly and helpful - especially when it comes to choosing a wine! Nothing...was too much trouble. No photos as too busy enjoying ourselves. Thankyou - we'll be back.More

Went here as friend booked it for a group of us and on the recommendation of a few people. Sadly, we were very disappointed altogether but felt a bit awkward to complain at the time as didn’t want to upset friend who booked it. The...service was very poor (albeit the manager was very friendly and bubbly at the end of the evening). It took ages to place our order, my and my friends meal was very disappointing (special beef bourguignon) was not very tasty and full of gherkins and the suet pudding was undercooked (beef inside was tasty) and we had to ask for plates to be removed after a long wait for table to be cleared. 2 friends had burgers who said they were okay. Will not be returning again.More

Amazing Pub / Restaurant! Service is quick, friendly and always 5 star!! Fantastic selection of drinks, the food is amazing and many different options particularly the Nachos which are a must as the best around! Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Seated us in the room to the right as you go in, big empty room with just us 8 in, no music on which I thought was odd, the service was quite poor, had to keep going to the bar to remind them we were...there, took about an hour for our starters to arrive, and had to keep going up to the bar for more drinks as they weren't coming over to us. The food tasted okay, would give a 6 or 7 out of 10, but at least 3 of us had awful stomach aches the next day, the owner lady was very strange as well, bit of a battle-axe.More
