We travelled for over four hours to Charlestown and wanted somewhere within walking distance for an evening meal and a drink. This was the first place we came to, so very much pot luck. Great atmosphere, lovely staff and superb food. We'll be back!

Looking for somewhere to Shelter from the cold and rain. It looked quite basic from the outside, but was very nice inside - the cakes were lovely and not expensive, we chatted to the lady serving who was very friendly.

For a starter I had the whitebread, came with lemon mayo and was a nice good size portion. We both ordered the seafood feasts. Be warned very big bowls. Mussels, tiger king prawns and calimari. Mine came with granary bread my wife had the side salad. Good seafood and good value for money. Did not have a desert. Would return.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch when we called in at Charlestown on our way to Mevagissey to photograph fishing boats. We always enjoy visiting Charlestown to see the tall ships scene of so many well-known films (movies) and TV series. 'Wreckers 'is conveniently situated beside the harbour and has a good selection of food and beverages for... More

Evening booked for a family get together, 3 couples, with expectations high based on local information and past experience. Initial reception was ok however service, as the evening progressed, deteriorated to the point where there was a noticeable absence of staff on duty despite there being no more than 3 parties in the restaurant at anytime. Bread bits in a... More

I visited this restaurant with my daughter for a Saturday lunch. She had a chocolate milkshake that was awesome. For starters we had anti pasti and chicken liver pate both divine. Then I had the fish pie which was delicious and just right size portion but my daughter had the pasty which wasn't the best. The pastry wasn't crispy at... More

We visted after a chilly walk along the pier in search of heat! It's a beautiful barn conversion with a modern twist. Staff are helpful and the right level of attentive. The fresh cake choice was great especially given it's the 1st day open after Christmas. If you love cake this is the place for you. I would vist again... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Wreckers yesterday. It's in a convenient location near the car park and harbour in Charlestown. The fish Medley platter had some of the best 'Cod Bites' we have ever eaten. Light batter surrounding very moist pieces of cod - delightful. The interior is pleasant and spacious. Staffing mixed, one lady very friendly and... More

Stopped here for a break whilst walking on the coastal path. The views from the cafe are good and the cakes are very tasty - large portions. Toilets are clean and accessible with good baby changing facilities.

Had lunch here after a short walk around Charlestown. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The Christmas decorations were stunning and the whole place was just lovely. The staff were more than helpful and the food very tasty. We had the fish pots. I had the Thai and my friends had the Cornish and French and we were all suitably impressed and... More
