When we visited it was on impulse as it was a very wet day and didn't want to travel far, the ambiance of the pub is very male orientated with sky sports on the 3 TVs, we ordered fish and chips and at £14 each expected something better than frozen products cooked in a deep fat fryer, all I can... Just called in for coffee so cannot comment on food. Friendly bar staff. Excellent location near tall ship. Recommended.

Very disappointed with the manor in which the barmen had given me after giving me the wrong money back once i purchased my meal, continuing to argue with me even though i had proven him wrong. Then after messing up the order twice he then continued to argue back with me and continue to be very rude. Very over cooked... More

Dropped In for a quick drink and lunch time snack with family. Ordered some of the sharing dishes and sat down to wait, and wait, and wait. After almost 50 minutes I went to ask where the food was and surprise surprise it was just about to be brought out. When it did arrive it was mediocre at best and... More

Sunday Carvery OK , but the meats are sliced by a machine (thin slices) . Beef OK but my wife said the Turkey was not that good . They are not stingy with what you are given . The vegetables are excellent as are the roast potatoes although , don't chose a big potato because mine was not roasted enough... More

Dropped in for a late afternoon drink and surprised to see how busy the Bar was during a November afternoon. We enjoyed a pint of Doom Bar and a decent glass of Shiraz in pleasant, lively surroundings. Obviously well supported by locals. Well priced drinks and bar food. Worth a visit.

Not really an inn, sort of cross between sports bar and pub. Soft drink choices a bit poor, no cloudy lemonade or elderflower for example. Very average pub food, soup, jacket potatoes: but luckily available all day. But what prices? Ouch, nearly ten pounds for a potato, apparent justified by a heap of green salad and not needed coleslaw .

My friend and i had an evening meal at the Harbour inn and it was very good. The pub was very busy so we had a fair wait until our food arrived but it wasn't a problem as there is a really friendly atmosphere here, we were sitting with two complete strangers but got chatting and it was lovely to... Enjoyed excellent Betty Stoggs bitter here - beautifully kept and as good as any place in Cornwall. Party of 4 family members chose sharing platters for lunch - all tasty and served with a smile by the barman who seemed to be the only front-of-house member of staff on a quiet lunchtime.
