Lovely little "pub" next door to the Pier House Hotel. Excellent food and value for money. Well worth popping in for a drink and something to eat

Had lunch there last year, not impressed, put me off Fishpie forever. We had fish pancakes and they were just a pile of sloppy fishpie with a soggy panckake on top. My grandson had a burger and that was ok, we wont be going again.

Found after a short search in Charlestown - the pub is next to a hotel but looked less crowded and we were very pleased with the food and the drinks, including the beer, if a little expensive.

Not a bad place, food was tasty and plentiful. Choice of white wine by the glass was "dry, medium or sweet?" The dry was very harsh.

This is a bustling bar, tv's are spread throughout. A good place for a drink and the food was good as well. A lot of youngsters were there at the time of our visit, they were very friendly/pleasant.
