25 locals went to the Christmas meal 17th December and all of us were disgusted with the food, service and disco at a price of £25 each. 80 year old DJ!. Frozen christmas pud, leather beef and small portions. Never again.

We were invited to a Christmas party with a few friends. Our three course meal was superb. Entertainment was fun and the bar staff/waitresses who were mum and daughter were so helpful and friendly. They both made our night even more enjoyable. I believe that the diner may soon be under new management......please keep the wonderful staff!

We visited three times in our week in Cornwall. Our party consisted of four grownups and two children (boy aged 4 years and girl aged 9 months). The diner staffs excellent service ensured that we were served with all our meals promptly ensuring the children didn't get bored. Will go again on our next Cornwall visit.

We popped in on the spur of the moment for a spot of lunch and received a very warm welcome from Debbie. The food was just what we wanted and the portions were spot on. A nice location and a friendly welcome which,we saw offered to all guests!

After a good walk around the historic dockyard and a visit to the museum of shipwrecks we selected the Bosun's diner situated above the museum for lunch. The spacious restaurant is very warm, bright and welcoming. A good selection of standard pub meals was on offer and decided to have a nice selection between the three is us. Service was... More

Sorry to say, extremely disappointing. Fish, chips, calamari - all frozen - definitely not from 'Iceland' theirs would have been better! Scones not home-made - how hard can it be to bake a scone?? Ordered an Americano coffee, but it was stale filtered. Didn't appreciate two 'managers' sitting at the Reserved table behind us talking about the costs of garbage... More

Our first day out in Cornwall and in need of a traditional Pastie - I found it here! A home made Cornish Pastie served with chips, peas and gravey - just what I wanted. Did not have to wait long and it was served with a smile. As I was driving I had coffee to drink which was fresh and... More

We went in for late lunch after visiting the Shipwreck Museum adjacent to the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and received very good service with a smile. We were so impressed we would have returned for late afternoon tea but being out of season we left it too late.

We went there after going into the museum and the food was excellent we were a party of six and we all had different meals and Debs was very friendly. The pasty meal was lovely and we asked if there was a take away option! No one wanted to leave so we had desserts and more drinks.
