Our Burger and wine bar has been recently refurbished and has a modern feel with mountain touches. It is spacious and accommodates roughly 50 people seated. We serve gourmet hamburgers made using top quality ingredients and cook everything freshly to order. We stopped on arriving in Aprica super hungry after the journey and without pretensions, they had the hamburger plate broken, offered toast or a piadina, we opted for the piadina but they had no ingredients.... In the end we took what was available between forgetfulness and other things…. Very high price for what we ate and not even an effort on the part of the management to offer at least a coffee considering the inconvenience.
Obviously we didn't come back for the burgers.

We stumbled across Penak Burger as we were pottering through Aprica and were so glad we did. My husband and I enjoyed a Big Smoke burger and chips each and it was mouthwateringly tasty. Fresh, well-cooked and the chips were crisp, light and full of flavour. We also enjoyed some beautiful local red wine, some of the best we've tried in Italy (and we've tried a lot!)
The restaurant and bar were buzzing, but even though there were clearly run off their feet, the staff were super efficient and really friendly - really great service.
It was such a good evening that we went back the following night
Thank you for making our stay in Aprica even more enjoyable, Penak - can't recommend this place enough!

This is one of our 'must visit' places each time we go to Aprica. It is a cracker if you like burgers and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You can build your own burgers, selecting your own choice of meat, bun, salad and sauces and all taste great. Owner is a great host and all the team are friendly, good choice of drinks, with the wine 'fresh from the barrel' delicious. We usually go as a group, and no one leaves unhappy!

Not an experience to be repeated. Attracted by the photos posted we went to eat a hamburger; already at the entrance the lady called the waitress saying 'these people want to sit'.. these?! … alright….
Overcooked burgers, almost burnt. When we asked for a 380g burger we were told that it was sold out, when the solution was simply to be able to put two burgers in another sandwich. A solution must always be found for the customer, especially when he finds it himself.
The bill is high but thinkable given the location of the bar, however not suitable for quality/price ratio.

We arrived with reservation, they made us sit at the entrance, the place is not cozy at all, the service much less. We ordered two burgers and a portion of chips never arrived, after an hour of waiting the waitress unkindly reported that she had not taken the order and had not arrived in the kitchen, so we would have to wait longer to be able to consume. We got up and only paid for the drinks, at the time of payment there was no excuse for waiting and error.

Really good and nice burgers. Wide choice of various ingredients to make the sandwich as you want. The only flaw, in my opinion, is that the chips must be brought together with the sandwich and not before as happened to me a couple of times. The fact remains that the sandwich is very good

Hello, we are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience and appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback.
The day you visited our restaurant was during the busiest period of the year (Christmas/New Year) and we had only been open for 2 weeks so we experienced some slower service due to the higher number of guests.
Our staff are very experienced and were working as fast as possible under the circumstances, they advised all guests on arrival that there would be a wait for the food so we assumed that everyone was happy with this. All the food and drinks ordered were finished so it was clearly enjoyable other than the wait and you were reimbursed for the drinks to apologise for the wait.....
We hope that you will revisit so that you can experience Penak Burger at its best.
