From Campo Smith we went up with the chairlifts to Pian del Sol and stopped for a coffee and a couple of cakes at La Grangia. Was very cosy inside and the staff was very helpful. The prices are reasonable. We had a lovely creamy cappucino an apple pie and a tiramisu. Worth a stop. Graet Place.

Food. Nice - big portions of chips and nice panini's. Great location right at the point that a wasn't red ski run ends. Nice deck chairs outside for customers use. This is a free service unlike some restaurants in Bardonecca. Food prices were he same as other restaurants in the area.

Located at the top of the chair lift from Campo Smith, La Grangia offers a range of freshly cooked pasta and local fayre; the menu is small and changes regularly but it's definitely worth a visit. Get in early for lunch as it fills up very quickly!

This is a very old and atmospheric restaurant on the slopes. It's accessible for non skiers to meet skiers (including beginners on their first non baby slope outing!) it is family run, friendly and the food is good too!

This is the first place on the mountain the skier/walker comes to coming of the chairlift. It is a typical alpine building which is made of local stone and timber set in some trees. There are benches in and outside of the La Grangia, where you can partake in the excellent homemade local cuisine. It's family run and very very... More

Tucked away behind trees opposite top of Smith chairlift (just ski straight ahead) and used by the ski instructors La Grangia is very cosy. I met another group and had a light lunch and beer inside. Also has a raised area in the restaurant with great views. Food and service great - toilets not so. Also outside veranda. Worth seeking... More

Recommended by our ski instructor for having the best food in the area with super homemade pasta. He was right! Very good value, friendly service and most importantly, very well cooked simple food.

Best spot to take a break from skiing. The salamella sandwich from the grill is a must, and together with a fresh beer the best to keep on the rest of the day. Also good la polenta with what ever your choice is, from cheese to 'cervo' always good and overwhelming!
