We are here on Valentines Day evening, expecting to have a superb meal based on other reviews. We were disappointed that the food was way too rich to be enjoyable - gnocchi ai quattro formaggi was almost inedible it was so rich.

On another day we had dinner at The Bardosteria and Luca of Les Lacs Residence suggested a few plates and we decided to eat Sedanini with speck, zucchine e zafferano and the Milanese the Vitello with a Val di Susa wine, I have to say that everything was cooked great and mouthwatering. and as dessert a nice Torta di Pere and... The only "authentic" meal we had in Bardonecchia was here. This place has a full menu of some of the most delicious things. Very reasonable in cost at 100 Euros for 5 meals with no wine or beer. The lamb, deer and beef were very well prepared.

It was a sunny Sunday of July and I decided to stop suntanning for a good meal. But where? I checked Tripadvisor and chose the best restaurant in town. The place is on the main road. A spacious, cool and bright room is the first thing I noticed. The manager, with an open smile, accommodated us to a nice table.... More

The 'polentata', in which wild boar and deer is served in large portions with polenta, is delicious. The "Viorun" is made with fine meat. The restaurant is packed with people but service is relatively fast. The staff is polite and friendly.

Average food at average price. We had a gorgonsola gnocci and it was tasteless (not worth it) and my boyfriend had cervo plate. The portion was generous but not so tasty.

Generous portions served by friendly staff. The food is not bad but not fine dining either. If your expectation is to recover from a ski day and and have a chat with your friends for a very reasonable price consider Bardosteria.

My first taste of polenta - and what an amazing thing it is. I would eat a bowlfull just plain. However, we had polenta and a deer and sausage thing to go with it, some pasta, a meat platter and ofcourse wine. Its a nice and cozy place where we had lunch after walking around the pretty little streets of... More
