After a long absence from Bormio, we came back a few days ago and chose to eat at Perbacco again. We were not disappointed. The ambience is warm and friendly and the cuisine always hearty and imaginative. Great risotto and the usual outstanding selection of wines. Memo to self: don't wait too long until the next meal here.

Decent restaurant. Went here risotto. Tasty, but no special enthusiasm. Large selection of wines. But this restaurant liked much less than a hotel restaurant Rezia.

There was more than one hard word working waiter! The food was inventive and really good (slightly pricey for bormio but who cares with that risotto!), while the wine choices is what makes this place. Now, we did come in probably the quietest week of the season, and a day after they had been closed for a week, but they... More

Food is excellent as well as wine advises to pair it with! Thanks! Will come again! We had to book a table because of the high season, but it worth an effort.

I just fiinished a 2-wk cycling trip through Italy. This was certainly not my first trip to Italy, but my first trip to Perbacco. I spent two nights in Bormio, and were it not for them being closed on Wednesday, I would have eaten there both nights. This was also my favorite meal and restaurant of the entire trip. With... "Perbacco" is the Italian equivalent of "By Jove" in English, but the reference to Bacchus, the god of winemaking, is hardly coincidental for this well-appointed wine bar-cum-restaurant in the heart of Bormio.

Perbacco is a favorite hangout and rendez-vous point after a day on the slopes, hiking, golfing or even an afternoon at the spa.

In the relaxed atmosphere of this family-run business, in what used to be the laundry of the 15th-century Anzi Palace, you can treat yourself to a well-deserved glass of wine. The cellar contains over 400 Italian and international wine labels. In his effort to take wine-bar fare to a whole new level, te owner Fabrizio has developed a menu of creative cuisine complementing the local Valtellina specialities that you can order till late at night.

The average check is 35 Euro, excluding the wine, and you are welcome to take any unfinished bottle with you. Pets are allowed. Weekly closure on non-holiday Mondays.
