Should have shared one between us, they are that big. Awesome service and informative wait staff. Nice to sit in the sun and soak up a few rays while having lunch.

A quick pit stop was needed and we managed to find a table at the Gran Caffé. Ideally located on the beach front ( well, across the road) it offers a snack menu of pasta and pastries with coffees and teas and a full bar. It has an ice cream menu but it was not available when we were there.... More

Food here is pretty average. It's an ok kinda place, service was alright and it's clean and tidy. The menu was quite varied and reasonably priced.

Had lunch & returned for dinner to Gran Caffe. Food was excellent for both meals & service was helpful. Prices were good as well Great location (for Civitaveccia)on the waterfront. We had pizza (generous size), pasta, & a delicious walnut & blue cheese gnocci, Best tiramisu of our holiday as well. Would recommend.

Located on a beautiful tree-lined seaside promenade Gran Caffe provided us the best in food, service and people watching. Our Hostess showed us to a shaded outside table. It was a sunny, Sunday afternoon and we wanted to have something light to carry us to Dinner so we chose the Pizza Capricciosa which was cut in half and served on... More

Daneilla, the waitress, barista, I am not sure what else she did, but she was just wonderful, very welcoming and friendly. The lasagne n carbonara was exceptional. The wine was great also. The welcoming service and the delicious food encouraged us to come back for a second round, breakfast before we leave. Lovely surroundings as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my tortellini with cream and ham. Added a side salad, wine, after dinner drink, bottled water, bread with meal, desert and spouses similar meal for 72 euro and I can't complain. Actually, I want to say it was quite good. You should try it.

Steps away from the great Hotel San Giorgio, the Gran Caffe is centrally located on the Viale G. Garibaldi, Civitavecchia's seaside avenue. We had a wonderful meal here, seated outdoors on the sidewalk, on a lovely (and lively) summer's night. With an ongoing city expo (think summer festival, replete with shops, amusement rides and live entertainment) in the beachfront park... More

Service here was ok. Food not bad. Great drinks menu. Able to sit outside across from the beach. Downside is being surrounded by smokers but that's Italy!!
