Typical local cuisine - pasta and meat mainly. The ravioli I had was wonderful, best I have had. Staff were very friendly and speak very good English. Very good value too for the quality!

Tre Scalini restaurant ... Do not miss it if you're in the city of Ferrara. The food that you will try is perfect .Tortelini with pear, cheese and balsamic is something that might sound strange, but it is unique. Of course, the meat-fiorentina with wine ... and believe you will be in heaven. The staff is very friendly and seems... More

Had lunch here as the hotel recommended this restaurant to us, traditional italian restaurant and they are specializing with pasta, we ordered whats the server recommended us and it was just ok-ish nothing special, was expecting more for what i got, but its fine food was not bad, by the way our server was good bring a basket of bread... Our hotel recommended this restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming. We started with a local dish- ravioli stuffed with roast pumpkin - delicious. My first and second choice of main course were both unavailable so at the waiter's suggestion I had steak with porcini sauce. The steak was tough and the sauce gloopy and tasteless- probably out of a... More

It's one of the best places to eat real Ferrarasian food. The cost-quality relationship is really good. It's next to a big parking, most importantly so you have no problems with spaces in a typical medival city. Don't miss it if you come to Ferrara!

Typical trattoria serving most famous territorial food, like Cappellacci filled with pumpkin (best choice with meat sauce but available also with butter&sage sauce), Pasticcio di maccheroni (puff pastry or short pastry filled with maccheroni with meat sauce), Salama da Sugo (spicy sausage you can find only in Ferrara and its province) with mashed potatoes and, to finish, Zuppa Inglese (delicious... Food was of this area and very well prepared. We started with prosciutto and warmed bread, risotto with guanciale and porcini mushrooms and fettuccine with guanciale and parmesano. Large portions and oh so good! Everything was delicious and fresh and nicely presented. Risotta was al dente and creamy, perfectly done. The pasta was Al dents with just the right amount... More

Disclaimer: I really love small, traditional, no frills restaurants, so my review is of course biased :-) I went to Ferrara for a business trip and after the meeting a local person took us to this trattoria. The location is not as fancy as the city center and the outside is not the sort of tourist trap that many restaurants... More

The restaurant is not in the center but a short walk away. Atmosphere is nothing special but cozy for a family or group lunch. The staff is warm and accommodating. The food changes your impression of this place as it was surprisingly well presented and tasty for a trattoria. The courses were brought out a little too quickly but because... More
