Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Old typical "osteria" (traditional, simple restaurant) very charming and with typical food , not the lightest food but very tasty and savoury. The owner seems a little cold at the beginning but warms up easily 😊 Don't miss it!

All is from "Abruzzi": food, deco, mood, staff. When dining there you feel diluted in the "regione". Revise a bit of Italian first, I have not got any menu but I had to listen and to understand it. The dishes were very good and the...staff very pleasant and attentive. A bit expensive, but remains correct.More

An incredible place. Old, atmospheric and so unusual. Modern soulless restaurants could learn a lot. Excellent home made food at reasonable prices. It feels as if you are eating at someone's home. Welcoming and warm. If your in Aquila you shouldn't go anywhere else.

This restaurant, located in an ancient and attractive building, represent the best you can find, in terms of local food and atmosphere. I would strongly suggest not to miss their soups (especially the soup of chickpeas and chestnuts a rare and antique cooking recipe).

Our hosts at the University organised a set dinner for our rather large group at this quaint restaurant. It was a meal of epic proportions, with one delicious dish after another, accompanied by superb local wine, and served with gusto by the owner and his...assistant, who described every dish with relish and took care that no-one was left waiting. The antipasti were superb; the lentils cooked to perfection, as was the pasta with basil and tomatos; the veal was exquisite, and the desserts finger-licking good. It was clear that the owner took great pride in his establishment and really wanted everyone to like and enjoy their dishes, made with the freshest of ingredients. It was a memorable and surprisingly inexpensive meal.More
