The gelato is tasty and the place was open till at least 10:30 each night. I will agree with a couple of the other reviews that it seemed like we were being a bother. I dont know if it was a language thing or they dont like Americans or just they way they are.

Was just passing by. The shop is very old fashioned - almost looked like a diner inside. Would normally have walked by but it looked quite a quaint place. The ice-cream is very good. So nice to know that it is all homemade. I sat watching the two big machines as they mixed the ice cream.

We visited this place on our way back to our hotel after dinner - the staff member gave the impression she didn't really want to serve us. The ice cream was OK, but you can find far better within a short distance. I had stracciatella which, instead of containing fine shavings of chocolate, contained one giant chunk almost as big... Very good gelato. Flavors different than other gelaterias. Served one flavor on top of another flavor and squashed down onto the cone so that the flavors look like different colored layers of pankackes. A little strange but effective. Only one size of waffle cone.

Tried ice in many places during a Tuskancy round trip, but this was for sure the best ice. Very traditionally made....

Lovely unassuming little place where the ice cream is made right in front of you by the older gentleman that, I guess, owns it, along with his wife who keeps the small tidy bar. All flavours great but the pineapple is without equal. Even the late 1960's decor and handwritten flavour list add to the experience. Park right outside.
