Outstanding. The best restaurant meal we had in Italy but some margin. We had the 4 course chef menu with wine match (which is actually 8 different courses and matches because they give each person a different plate). Every dish was fantastic and the service...was also superb. A must visit in Montepulciano and worth the price.More

We chose an outside table. The food and wine were very good, the service is impeccable. They also give some small items to try on a house. Overall it was a very pleasant experience

Super food, super service at a restaurant you would easily pass. Eye for detail, explosion of flavors, excellent explanation on the food and friendly staff. A must-go when you are visiting Montepulciano !

The best food we found in Montepulciano! A father and daughter run restaurant with gorgeous decor, incredible food and plenty of theatre. Everything we ordered was delicious, so much care was put into the presentation and explanation of each dish. It was hard to choose...what to order as so many dishes on the menu looked inviting. Our particular highlights were the “Tagliata”, sirloin steak with Mediterranean vegetables which was steak elevated with delicious use of oils and herb crusted lamb, which was the best lamb dish my partner has ever had. The tempura vegetables to start were amazing with the lightest but still crispy batter I have tried and the homemade breads were a delight. Thank you so much to Massimo and his daughter Virginia, we cannot wait to come back and visit again. A highlight of any trip the beautiful Montepulciano. This quality of food in London would cost double the price. Definitely book ahead as this restaurant is often fully booked.More

Small and cozy, the restaurant offers classic Tuscan fare with a twist. We had pici (cooked in part in a bladder), smoked egg, fried vegetables and Fiorentina steak - all truly top notch with wonderful flavours. Definitely recommend.

Amazing experience! Quaint restaurant with outstanding food. The staff and service was impeccable. The Blue Egg appetizer was unbelievingly taste and the presentation like no other. Tempura vegetables were so tasty. Beef and pork main course are tasty. And capped off with a nice selection...of desserts.More

Outstanding restaurant in idyllic setting in Montepulciano. The menu by Chef Massimo is creative and delicious. The “blue egg” starter is a must try. Have had nothing even close anywhere else. I cannot recommend this restaurant more strongly.

I cannot believe they do not have a Michelin star yet! The service is impeccable and the food was totally unexpected. I went with the Chef’s Choice 3 course meal for 58€ and a wine pairing of 20€ and I was blown away. They are...a farm to table taking care to let you know which farm was used in your plate. My first course was gnocchi glazed in beetroot and stuffed with rabbit with a gorgonzola sauce, second was pigeon three ways, breast, a croquet of shoulder and heart meat and finally a macaron of pigeon liver and foie gras. The final course was a strawberry flambé that had the entire restaurant applauding! The wines were wonderful and matched perfectly. It is a small location so I suggest a reservation. I would have paid three times as much for this experience.More

The food at Le Logge del Vignola was fantastic and the service was second to none. We dined in the slightly elevated library room to the left side of the restaurant as you enter and the ambiance there was very nice. We had a 3-course...dinner option and they must have brought out different dishes eight different times. The restaurant was the most expensive that we dined at while in Montepulciano, but it was well worth it for a special occasion. The owner and his daughter served us and they were a huge pleasure to dine with.More

You CANNOT miss this restaurant! This was hands down the best meal my husband and I had during our 3 weeks traveling in Italy. The ambience, service, presentation and food itself...everything was impeccable! We opted for their chef's choice tasting menu with wine pairings and...boy did they take us on quite a journey! I have never been to a restaurant where the guests at the table are served "different" tasting menus but that is what occurred and all I can say is that they absolutely nailed it with the selections for each of us and the wine pairings for each of the dishes. We will surely be reminiscing about this meal until we are fortune enough to get to go back to Montepulciano again!More

Many of the meals in Tuscany have their roots in farmhouse traditions. Le Logge de Vignola manages to retain the traditional ingredients and flavors but put a new and modern spin on them. We were served a welcome drink of sparkling wine, an amuse bouche...of thinly sliced fried chicken, and an assortment of wonderful homemade breads. Our appetizer was a cone of tempura style vegetable fried in olive oil. Our pasta was a dish of tiny potato gnocchi colored with beetroot served with a white rabbit ragu and topped with crunchy chickpeas. This humble dish of rabbit stew was elevated to a higher level. A small two-rib rack of lamb was perfectly slow cooked and then coated with ground barley and popcorn. A tiny but delicious plate. Our dessert was exceptional panna cotta shaped like an egg with a "yolk" of a poached peach and served on a nest of toasted very thin pasta. The wine list here is huge and feature more than 20 selections of local Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Logge del Vignola is located near the center of this hill town featuring steep streets. Choose a parking area as high as possible to avoid a strenuous hike up the streets. Reservations absolutely required.More

Le Logge del Vignola offers a brilliant combination of imaginative cuisine, stylish and intimate ambience and attentive, courteous and knowledgeable service. Add nice touches like a welcome sparkle and amuse-bouches both at the start of the meal and before the sumptuous desserts and you have...a package which ranks well amongst the finest restaurants in Europe. Michelin take note - this could well be the first starred restaurant in Montepulciano.More

We ate there for Mother's Day of this year. It truly was a exceptional experience. The restaurant itself is lovely and inviting. Massimo, Chef/Owner is a beautiful soul and gifted artisan. Virginia, our Server was a delight. They both made the experience one that will...never be forgotten. Truly, there are no words for the exquisite tastes of everything served. I felt like we were eating at one of The Best Restaurants in the World. The presentation was outstanding, the love and respect that went into creating the whole experience will forever live in my heart. I will return to Italy again and again and eat there EVERY time.More

We have been dining at Logge del Vignola since 2004, whenever we are in Montepulciano. Massimo and his daughter Virginia offer a memorable experience. The decor is elegant, the presentation of the dishes is exquisite, and the service is impeccable. The food is always delicious...and carefully prepared. On our last visit, we especially loved the Gran Fritto Toscano (fried vegetable antipasto, including garlic scapes that were especially delectable), the homemade pici, and the chocolate sphere dessert which is a true showstopper. Bravissimi!More
