The food was medium quality for the price requested. Grilled seafood= 32 eur, Tiramisu= 8 eur. You certainly have the feeling that your money is worth nothing any more.

Was told they had the “best pizza” ! Read the reviews…had Hotel Poseidon book us a 9pm table. We were alittle early for our reservation…gave us a table inside right on edge of outside…should have waited as tables became available immediately after. Service was awful!...We ordered a bottle of wine and food and I kid you not it was delivered within 10 minutes all at once and they literally dropped it at our table and never came back to check on us. Truly believed it was because we were English speaking Americans and we are always respectful. Meanwhile tables filled back up on the street and people we eating and drinking and seem to be enjoying their experience …we ate and were gone 45 minutes…crazy! Next night we dined and did chef tasting and wine pairing at La Sponda…we are foodies and know good food and drink…this place crappy …lucky it was cheap!More
We had the most satisfying dinner at Sacaceno d'Oro. My husband ordered the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, which was divine. Seriously, the pink sauce was superb (one of the best I've ever had) and the gnocchi were pillowy. I ordered the Spaghetti alla puttanesca (capers, olives,...and cherry tomatoes). The pasta was house-made; it was thick and had perfect texture. The puttanesca was everything I hoped it'd be. Would happy go back and order the same thing or try any of the other spectacular options on their menu! Unlike many other places in Positano, Sacaceno will fill up your belly with a fantastic meal and won't break your budget.More
This restaurant was close to our hotel. We got takeaway twice and had one sit-down dinner. The service was typical of an Italian restaurant - the staff has a different timeline for service (it's cultural and more leisurely) as compared to US restaurants, so we...expected this. We found the staff to be very accommodating. The food was good- we especially enjoyed their pizza. The bread has the typical texture for bread in this region - harder than we are used to but made with quality ingredients - this also was not a surprise.More
We ordered take away pizza’s and a lovely lady told us to sit down while we wait. Then a partially bald man (presume the owner) came out and told us to sit further away because they had lunch service starting and wanted to use the...table, i said we are waiting on your pizza’s and then we will gladly go. We finally received 1 of the 4 pizzas we ordered, by this time we had waited so long we were hungry, so we started to eat that. The same guy came over and said don’t eat that here, we said it’s from your restaurant and if you finish our other pizzas we will gladly go. When I followed him in to see what was happening the pizzas had been sitting on the bench and nobody had told us. Good customer service is about making someone feel welcome and it doesn’t cost anything to do that or be friendly!More
We enjoyed this restaurant so much we ate here 3 times in the week of our holiday. Its a very chilled atmosphere away from all the hustle and bushel of Positano town itself. Plenty of waiters who take care of your every need. The food...is amazing, we tried pasta dishes but the best thing we had was the pizza cooked in a wood fired oven… you have to try it!!More
Unbelievable pizza, been on the amalfi coast for 12 nights and this was hands down the best we had. We came back a couple of nights later for pasta and also didn’t disappoint. Waiters extremely attentive and great prices
We were in Italy for ten days and this was our only disappointing dining experience. The food was bland and we were rushed from the time we sat down. The young guys that work there were rude and definitely had an agenda to get folks...in and out as quickly as possible. We loved Positano and will be back often, but we will not eat there again!More
The worst restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Food was almost unedible. The king prawns came with a pound of salt on it, literally a pound. When you scraped it off you can imagine what it tastes like. Don't spend your money here,...lots of good restaurants in Positano, no need to throw money away.More
This is such a good value restaurant with the most tasty food and run by a wonderful family. Don’t miss the Home made pasta it’s the best.
Great service. Food was fresh. We had pizza as an entree with scallopini with mushrooms for our mains and added vegetables. Busy restaurant in a great spot. Would recommend to book on the day but there were a few walks in too
This place was highly rated and seemed popular - I was so let down by the lobster pasta - I literally got a lobster shell that had 3/4 of the meat missing out of it - it was as if they'd put my lobster meat...in another meal, very disappointing, then my husband got the wrong meal entirely but had been waiting so long he just ate it - only for them to bring the correct meal when he had finished. Overpriced and really disappointing, avoid.More
Rude and terrible food We waited over an hour for soggy pizza then were told to leave after we paid because they needed the table for other people by the owner.. the restaurant smelt like BO inside and instead of being provided with an apology...for the food being later l was told to leave .. rude and obnoxious .. spent over 200 euroMore
Worst place ever food took 45 minutes! For 2 pizzas! Then they told us to leave in another 15 minutes just as the food arrived! And the waiter didn’t even know we ordered the pizzas! Worst place ever! Do not recommend at all!
This was by far the best restaurant we visited over a 10 day Amalfi / Capri holiday. The food is great, and the restaurant has a much more authentic feel, probably due to the family history it boasts. Service with a genuine smile, and reasonably...priced. I cannot recommend enough. One negative is the outside seating along the road which is perhaps not ideal. Try to get an indoor table after 8pm so it's not too hot. It's perfection!More
