Local restuarant middle up the hill We ended up waiting over an hour for our food. They blamed it on a large party but they had no concept of customer service. They should have let us know how long it would be or to rectify offered a free dessert. There were other couples waiting as well. The food was okay,... More

We had a very nice meal there. I had the lamb and my wife had the fish. Both were very well prepared and presented. We went wandering along the main road looking for a place where the local population had supper. They stay open late, as is the local custom.

Was brought about 4 small pieces with the rest being lots of small boney fish. \when I mentioned this they were dimissive and said it... More

Stopped in here one night for dinner...Could tell right away the vibe was great. The place is run by 2 younger Italian brothers who are the life of the party. You can tell they socialize ALL THE TIME when they are working the floor, which made the service abit slow but it was the Italian pace - take your time... More

The sauces at this place are to die for. Start off with a nice glass of persecco, and they'll bring you out some warm bread with oil and balsamic (pretty much standard in Italy). We split a Caprese salad. My wife had mussels and clams, which was incredible. I had locally made pasta, strachiatelli(sp?), with mussels, scallops, and clams, and... More

We were greeted by the very personable Lorenzo. "Did we have a reservation maybe?" maybe we didn't but after the hike up the hill on one of the hottest days in Positano I just wanted a seat. Wasn't fussed about the seating arrangements (people are obsessed by sitting outside in the coastal towns) so in we we went with the... More

Description
The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.
