We decided to eat here on our last night, and showed up around 9pm. The restaurant was busy, but we were immediately shown to a table alongside the railing on the balcony with an amazing view overlooking Positano. We then sat for a good 30 minutes before anyone ever came around to take our order - not even drinks. No... More

Our first visit to Caffe Positano was for an afternoon coffee and the views, service and Italian coffee was excellent. We decided to return a few nights later for dinner - we had good ole spaghetti and meatballs and ravioli, great bread and olive oil and a nice "pour" of wine! Prices are reasonable and it was crowded so they... More

As a consolation for not receiving a good view at our hotel La Rosa Dei Venti, we were given a bottle of €10 prosecco and a reservation at this restaurant on one of the two balconies available on the top floor. The view was wonderful as was the service. The food was OK at best. You are paying a high... More

This place has a stunning view, mediocre service and the worst food in Italy. I wish we would have taken some pictures and kept walking because WOW, i have had better Italian food in Canada. This is a super touristy place where the prices are high and the food was literal garbage (because that's where it should go directly from... More

My husband and I went to Caffè Positano twice during our 4 night stay. Both times we sat on the down stairs terrace/balcony. No noise can be heard from the road and the service unobtrusive! We were very impressed with the quality of the meals and the flavours as well as the price. Very affordable. Thank you to the Staff... More

Tonight the Cafe Positano scored a parley no restaurant should want. Food served after it sat around too long and service that was barely there. What makes this even worse is the fact that the restaurant was not even half full during our stay. There are many restaurants to choose from in the immediate area avoid this one.
