We stayed here 5 nights and ate breakfast and dinner there every night. We loved the food and thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience. This is an extremely well run family hotel and restaurant. A lot of love and pride is put into their meals!!! The experience of dining there was also what kept us dining there each night. Giovanni... Perhaps our expectation were set high, but the food was lacking a bit of passion Italy is famous for. Perhaps it was because the time of the year(we visited end of oct) and chef seemed to be a bit tired. The spaghetti with clams was averae at best. Their own wine is great though and the price is matching as... More

Best bruschetta we've had on our two-week trip to Italy. Very good food with a warm, family environment. Hard to go wrong with this restaurant.

From the moment we checked in at this amazing family owned hotel we felt we'd come to the right place - impeccable and utmost friendly service, feels like we're staying with family, great room with a fantastic terrace overlooking the ocean, spotless and so comfortable/ the restaurant was the best surprise! We usually don't eat at hotel restaurants, but this... More

While a bit outside Positano, this place is definitely worth the long walk/ bus ride. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the house wine is very good (and cheap!), and the food was excellent. As other reviews mentioned, the bruschetta is very good. We also had the octopus salad, mussels in red sauce, and spaghetti alle vongole. Too full... More

We stayed in the hotel above the restaurant but would definitely recommend trying the restaurant. Food is served in a beautiful terrace facing out to the sea. A very romantic view at night time. Food is sooooo good! We were never disappointed. The spaghetti with clams and mussel is a must. It was very fresh and better than any other... More

Great hotel. I didn't get the chance to eat here but the hotel is really nice. And offers great value for money. Highly recommended.

Because we were staying at the hotel Al Barilotto del Nonno (right above the restaurant) we had breakfast and diner at the place everyday! The food was so sooo good, I never tried anything like it outside or in Italy. I think the reason is because it is family/homemade cooking combined with very fresh quality ingredients. The whole thing is... More

We had a beautiful dinner with great food and ambiance. This is a family restaurant with local fresh food and great wine. We discovered it at our last evening unfortunately. Pay attention that the location is 10 min from the center of Positano. We stayed at Il san pietro so it was 150 meters from our hotel

We were staying in a villa also owned by the owner of this hotel and restaurant. Giovanni was kind enough to come pick us up. He and his sister and staff had prepared great antipasti, the eggplant, the onion torte, the octopus, etc. He brought it, and we happily ate it all! We also shared a couple of pastas, fresh... More
