We were taken here by friends local to the area, as we wanted to try local cuisine. We were not disappointed! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere convivial and the whole experience highly satisfying.

If you land, or you're bound to, or you randomly come across thru Savona, pls stop and allow you the pleasure of a lunch or a dinner in this old fashioned "Ligure style" tavern. Sometimes in the past I hated the fact that they don't accept phone reservations. The only choice you have is to personally go there some time... More

This is a traditional restaurant, located in a small alley in the city center of Savona. Ambience is absolutely simple and relaxed..they care more about food quality than appearence here. You can find a very tasty farinata (a ligurian specialty made with chickpeas or wheat flour and cooked in wood oven), but also seafood and pasta. You need to make... More

If you want to have a feeling of the old Savona, go and eat here. This is maybe the last place reminding of the real old port catering. Besides the famous farinata that is the best in town, the rest of the menu changes daily depending on what they get from the fisheries. Their cooking is natural, traditional and tasty... More

This is one of those places you struggle every day more to find. They are still living in the middle age atmosphere: they do not have a phone, you cannot make a reservation, they cook almost everything into the very old wood owen wich is just at the entrance. The result is that it is always fully booked. The farinata... More

For sure , the atmosphere has remained but food quality tradition is an old remember!! Heavy food dressing and low quality wines not acceptable comparing with price and other city genuine restaurant opportunity.

I have been to this restaurant many times and it's reaaly typical Ligurian. There is no phone, so you simply go there and wait for a table or book in advance (always in person) for a table in an another room. The style is very simple, but the food is well prepared and as far as I know the white... More

This restaurant is an institution in Savona and is always crowded with lovers of the simple, local cuisine. It is just a few steps from the Pinacoteca Civica and cathedral. On entering the first thing you see is the huge wood oven where the farinata (a delicious local pancake made with chickpea flour) and much of the food is cooked.... More

II had some awful experience! We found hair in our food! Told that to a waitress, she pretended it was totally normal and we should expect even an apology, let alone money back! Then we had to talk to the manager, who reluctantly admitted that it was not very pleasant to find hair in food O_O Never again!
