We were ten nights in Viterbo and tried a few good restaurants, but once we'd tried Lo Scorfano we came there every night thereafter. The food was superb, prices were reasonable, and the owner and staff were good fun.

Come hungry. Portions are enormous, fish fresh from the water, cook is a genius, waiter os an artist of his craft.

We don't have such a nice experience there. The waiters were kind indeed and the serving went well, but the food was just not that nice, very little on the plate, the fish that was left after the waiter(!) took the bones out was 1/3 and the prices were a bit too much for what we got. I wouldn't go... More

Off the beaten track in viterbo is this lovely restaurant. Specialising in seafood, but not limited to it. A levels flower strewn terrace and charming staff. Food was excellent and the local wine a treat.

A beautiful restaurant with nice sitting outside. They offer meat or fish menues as pasta or as main course. My pork dish with potatoes was excellent. The service staff was very kind.

We had a lovely evening here. The staff were very helpful translating the menu for us. The food was beautiful. My husband left his phone there and it was kept safe until he returned.

it is located right in the heart of the wonderful city Viterbo. It may seem expansive in compare to other places, but you will try the tastiest quatro formaggio in your life. Everything is just extremely tasty and portions are very big, kind of for two.

Lo Scorfano della Pentolaccia is in the midst of Viterbo's medieval San Pellegrino district. When we told our hotel concierge that we'd had lunch there, he told us that the owners had originally opened a seafood restaurant, then opened a restaurant for meat-eaters, and that this one was the merger of the two. He also mentioned that it was his... More

Lured in by the pretty outdoor seating, they then proceed to lure you in by bringing out huge plates of fresh raw seafood and mushrooms. The menus are only in Italian so they will push their specials - seafood or meat. Servings are massive but taste is decent. Seafood was fresh (1-2 days old) given countryside location. €70 for two... We wandered into the terrace as it was very pretty (full of lovely flowers) and also, the only bit of Viterbo that the sun was hitting when we got hungry. It is set in the quartiere medievale, and it is priced accordingly. Having scrutinised the menu, we realised that the prices were a bit beyond our budget to indulge in... More
