We booked a table at Molino D'era to bring in the new year. We didn't know what to expect but having eaten here many times we knew that it would be something special - and it was. The evening began with Prosecco aperitifs in the hotel reception with typical Tuscan appetisers. The main event was a banquet of nine different... More

From the road Molino D'Era looks a little daunting. However, once inside the quality of food, service and the warm welcome of Irma, make it an excellent place to dine out. Every time we visit Orciatico, we always include a trip to Molino D'Era, and it is our favourite, albeit the local competition is a high standard to beat We... More

I booked our wedding reception at the Molino D'Era for eighteen guests from the UK, USA and Italy. Irma was incredibly helpful and agreed the menu with us so that we could cater for the likes and dislikes of our guests. The evening arrived and we were treated to the most fabulous food, plenty of house wine (excellent quality) and... More

We really enjoy the Restaurant Molino d'Era all the times that we visit Italy and Tuscany. Courtesy of the staff and genuine food make a combination that we really appreciate.

My husband and I had one of our favorite meals during our trip to Tuscany at this restaurant, which was recommended to us by our agriturismo hostess. Don't be fooled by the restaurant's modest appearance from the outside -- once inside, you'll immediately feel the authentic, rustic Italian ambience. Prices were very reasonable, and everything we ate was delicious, especially... More

Lovely setting, friendly helpful service, quality food at reasonable prices and all in a relaxing atmosphere. I had the fresh Sea Bream and Mediterranean Vegetables here twice... because it was just so delicious! There is an enormous choice on the menu and everything is freshly cooked to order. We ate here three times and cannot fault this restaurant, which is... More

Dont go to Molino d'Era for fancy food made for toursists, this is the real deal. .Go to eat where the locals eat and enjoy very well cooked country food. The starters we had were the real high point. I enjoyed home-made Tagliolini with fresh vongole (clams) cooked in a white wine sauce with a hint of chilli, whilst my... More

Irma, one of the two managers is fantastically helpful, speaking English and German fluently. The setting is superb on a warm night. Gardens and terrace tables. The food is good, all the antipasto excellent. Pasta dishes wonderful but as there is such a large selection some of the main dishes are lacking in style or authenticity. We went several times... Stayed nearby and tried this place as it was handy for us. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service we received. The two sisters who looked after this speak good English too.

difficult to understand how anyone can have a complaint against the friendly service, good wines and well executed Tuscan menu offered by this restaurant; our party had a wide variety of dishes through three courses and all were greatly enjoyed in a pleasant Al fresco setting.
