We visited yesterday evening for dinner and wow! The food was simply superb, staff very friendly and very well kept beers. The Rib eye steak was to die for, amazing Artichoke starter and my girlfriend commented on how yummy her dessert was! They even have...More

We go to this pub every year when we go to the Festival of Speed. Sadly it is shut. Thankfully there is the White Horse quite near but it doesnt have quite the same relaxed feeling - although still very good.

There is a notice outside stating that this Pub / B & B closed for business at the end of Dec 2015. The website has the same information. It is now Six month on, so the chances of it re-opening must be receding fast.

Just a few poeple in the place, therefore not much of an atmosphere. The service was good, although it seemed like the proprietor and the waitress were trying just a bit too hard. The Hogs Back Tea was well kept and tasted great, but it...More
