Staff very pleasant; food reasonable quality; prices a little on the steep side. Enjoyed the lunch though.

Went to this traditional pub for Sunday lunch and was really impressed. The staff are friendly and there is a good selection of beers. The menu had a good selection and the roast beef was outstanding. Portion size was good with six (yes six) vegetables....More

This is a lovely, authentic, quintessentially english pub. Stopped for a drink here during a walk and could have stayed all day - didn't eat here but food looked lovely as it was coming out.
