The Black Horse pub in Standlake near Witney is a welcoming pub, packed full of history and has just had a lovely renovation opening up the restaurant area and adding a cosy atrium and fully renovated toilets which are now inside (about time you say) Two fantastic French chefs and a beautiful menu to suit all.

Excellent food, drink and service.
We had a selection of mains and starters and it was all amazing. The curry I had was amazing as was everything else.
The staff were very attentive, from offering water for our dog to being quick with drinks.
First of all the general waiting staff very friendly and attentive so can’t complain there,

Enjoyed a super evening with friends at The Blackhorse. Pork tenderloin was delicious and the waiting staff made the eve extra special. Big ‘shout out’ to ‘James’ who was attentive, friendly and an all round super waiter. Thanks James. We’ll be back!
