What a wonderful pub! Sunday roasts are fabulous, and the staff are always friendly. The new owners are very welcoming and it’s great to see a local pub thriving!

Lovely local pub where everyone feels welcome. Landlord and landlady very friendly when we came in for a drink. Will be coming back especially now they’ve opened the kitchen up! Food looks amazing.
I have visited on a few occasions since the new landlord and landlady have taken over, I must say I am very impressed. The pub has been freshly decorated with the hops renewed, the fires are now both on and the locals are friendly and...chatty. The beer is good and no different in price to any other competitor in the area, particulary welcome is the addition of Kentish PiP brewed locally ! The live music has been enjoyed on a few evenings by myself and friends and I look forward to upcoming events. It's especially nice to see local sports teams back and social clubs utilising the facilities. Pizzas are fab, can't wait to try the new menu. Keep up the good work guys !More
I never normally feel the need to write a review, but after such a disappointing visit with mates I felt I should, the pub is dated and in serious need of refurbishment, the beer tasted stale and was typically expensive as most shepherd neame pubs...are, it seems to be a pub for locals which is fine. but I don't want to sit trying to relax with foul mouthed people propping the bar up chatting to the landlord who also looked like he had already drank half the bar. nope not for me! I won't be backMore
I'm extremely sorry that you felt that you had to leave your very first review on TripAdvisor as a negative review on our establishment, it's quite clear that our customers and myself, as landlord, offended you on the 13th of this month. Unfortunately, I don't...More
Just had our first pizza from the Three Horseshoes! Absolutely amazing and no grease! Love the fact we can have it to take away too. New owners have just started doing food and did not disappoint 😊
Quite a pleasant meal spoiled when the landlord alleged one of our group had not paid. Our organizer paid the difference before discovering it was not so. A month later heard that another group had had the same experience. Hmmm. The then landlord was due...to retire two weeks later, so was perhaps funding his retirement?More
Previously recommended this Pub but after another visit I would no longer be so enthusiastic. We went back there after another visit to Mount Ephraim (which I would still recommend) and it had changed . I think new owners now , the cost of a...drink was the highest I have experienced in a pub this year (£11.50 for 2 pints. The "garden area " that is set back now has plenty of dog mess on it . I think the owners let their dogs use it as they did while we were having our drink ! We wont be going back any time soon.More
First time visit in what i call a proper pub 2 x sunday dinners wife had pork i had beef a proper dinner very tasty enjoyed every mouthful washed down with 2 pints master brew equally very nice Landlord very welcoming and friendly
Stopped here after visiting Mount Ephraim Gardens. Friendly landlord and nice quirky garden. Open seven days a week. Parking is on the road so may be awkward when busy. Definitely worth a visit , wish it was my local.
Five of us went for lunch after a visit to Mt Ephraim. Lovely old pub with great outdoor seating. Very good service and friendly welcome from the server (owner?). The food was excellent quality, lots of it and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended!
Just popped in for lunch, cheesy chips and a large glass of white rjioca suited me fine. My partner enjoyed brie and bacon sandwich. Pity our weekend break was too short to make a return visit this time.
Tuesday Cod & Chips... 👌🏻👌🏻 Both cooked perfectly, a lovely bit of cod in a light batter, I do not often enjoy eating chips but these were lovely👍🏻.... and great value for money. The atmosphere was very pleasant and a nice service received from the...gent behind the bar.More
Great little pub, first time visiting. Just a couple of beers and a wagyu burger. Superb service from Grant. Pleasant, welcoming, all round nice place.
Nice surroundings and excellent beer. Let down by poor quality sandwich which was a lot of money for 25 p of ingredients. Won't return for food.
Welcomed with open arms, food was good and the local ale was very good indeed. I shall return without question
