Quite simply the best roast around and not at a pretentious cost, crispy roasties, fresh veg, flavoursome gravy and a winner of a yorkie 😍

Friendly pub. Fabulous food. There were five of us and every meal was delicious. Goan curry, steak and kidney pie, cottage pie, burger and ploughmans lunch.

Stopped off here today for a quick drink and a warm up after a day out in the rain. Bar staff were welcoming and attentive. Can imagine it being a great place in the winter when the wood burners are on.

You would have to check but normally it goes into late afternoon often with music played. Just give them a phone call.
