We are coffee nerds ...but not as much as the gentleman that runs this cafe. In a country that doesn't seem to care very much about coffee, this guy makes up for it. Great choice, excellently prepared and lots of knowledge in something he is...More

We found this little gem by chance when looking for something late in the afternoon when many places had stopped serving food. Delicious homemade soup and quiche. We were then tempted by the many choices of homemade dessert - and went back a second day...More

Dropped in this morning for a coffee and the service and coffee were so good we came back for lunch. The soup was gorgeous, aubergine and courgette with warm buttered bread; mmmmmmm. Lovely croque Monsieur and the omelettes were good too. You have a wide...More

My husband and I stopped in for a quick drink on a Sunday morning. The cafe was empty and we quickly chose a milkshake each. They arrived quickly and, although small, mine was very nice (flavoured with real hazelnut ice-cream). My husband's white chocolate frappé,...More

Madam, As I saw your report on Tripadvisor concerning what happened on our shop last sunday, I tell you once again that white-chocolate "frappé" does not taste like a strong-cocoa flavoured item, since the cocoa rate in a white chocolate is very low. Furthermore, I...More

Great place to grab a coffee or croquet monsieur. Friendly staff, who speak English! Great selection of coffee, tea and other drinks. The lunch menu is a tiny bit limited but overall a fantastic place for lunch.

This tiny cafe has a nice patio in the rear. The pastry was very good and they offered thee selections with coffee for 3,30 euro, a very good deal. The cafe is simple but very good.

Initially we just stopped for a coffee, but when we picked up the menu the choice was fantastic. It was not a simple coffee but rather a difficult choice between all the coffees and teas on offer. It was an Aladin's cave of coffees, teas...More

Very busy even out of season. As much to do with the freshly milled coffee as the simple and inexpensive lunchtime food.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch (omelette and croque monsieur) at this great little place in the centre of Brantome.

Excellent little cafe with a 'secret garden' area out the back. The owner is a coffee expert so the frappe was excellent - as was the affrogato imbibed later that day!
