We visited this place for a light lunch before heading to a sailing tour. We had a fix menu with a selection of starters - The liver paté was fantastic, main corse and dessert. The service was a little bit slow and the terrace was quite hot because of the glass wall, but the food was really good.

It was fun to eat down at the Hendaye port. The menu of the day was terrific! It started with a serve of four large scallops on shells with fine Gratin coating -delicious. Next was a bowl of veal casserole served on linguini. Dessert was the house brownie - actually it was two giant pieces of chocolate pudding in custard... More

We had terrine foia gras and salad for starter. Maincourse chef choice st peters fish and oxfilé Rossini, to big portions, but taste were alright. Wine and beer good. We asked for à nice table but probable to hard with new cuttlery so we got some corner. Dissapointment Quiet expensive also.

With a direct view on the Txingudy's bay and the Spanish border on the other side and the Pyrenees right behind, it's a place to experience excellent food served in very descent portions. I tried the chef's recommendation a "Filet de St Pierre et son risotto au morilles". Oh my god! That was an experience, absolutely divine! Accompanied by a... More

It was my first time going to Le Chantier with my wife for lunch where she recommended that I try their set lunch menu. So on this day, we had this Squid ink rice with Salmon, which was super delicious, I took the combination Starter + Main as the set while my wife took the Main + Dessert. You do... More

Quality of food, taste, service and presentation was exceptional for all four of us. Even better was the reasonable bill considering the quality.

We arrived late and the kitchen was about to close, but they were very nice and served us even though it was close to midnight. We ordered one of each from the starter menu. When everything arrived, we were surprised by the size and quality of the food. It was really great tasting food, with a flair that we didn't... More
