Not only is the restaurant in a stunning location but the food is equally as good! Great Staff & excellent selection of Sea Food on offer here, all very fresh! I had the Verdis Farci with fries and husband had the Crab Mayonnaise with Fries followed by a Creme Caramel which was superb. Great Cider and coffee too! You will... More

Nestled on Côte Sauvage with breathtaking views of crashing waves and jutted cliffs sits Le Vivier where Jacques le Buet and his team serve seafood "degustation" - think langoustines, oysters, mussles and more- of freshest quality in a friendly and charming setting. Make sure to try the Warm Oysters, fingerlicking good! Since this is degustation rather than a restaurant, presentation... More

We have visited Le Vivier on several occasions now and it never fails to disappoint. Wonderful location, beautiful scenery and great food and certainly worth a visit. Les vernis are absolutely amazing. Well worth a visit.

the location of this restaurant is probably the asset specially if you can get a table by the window or on the terrace as you will be facing the west and the ocean. then the food is Ok, good and fresh without being fantastic. The service probably fit with this place but it is somehow a bit to direct and... More

Basic style with a good seafood menu. If good weather eat outside as inside is very crowded...BUT...worth being there because of the wonderful view of the Ocean...especially at sunset.

This restaurant is directly on a promontory overlooking the crashing surf below. They specialize in all sorts of seafood, extremely fresh (caught that day). We each love shellfish so we ordered the "Assiette de la Mer." It consisted of a half-dozen raw oysters, a dozen or so langoustines, a dozen or so shrimp, 1/2 large crab, lots of sea snails,... The best spot for me over the area. Choice is limited but the food taste very good, and the panorama is very nice. Only disagreement would be people standing in front of terrace ansomehow taking the view away from you, as well as cigarette on the ground just in front of terrace. Price is average, not cheap, but expected for... More

Lovely staff and a tasty cup of coffee. Sadly we arrived too late to sample lunch. But who cares, just look at that view!

great fresh seafood served quickly even when restaurant was full. Pleasant staff, English spoken if necessary! We each had a different dish and shared. Fabulous. The views are magnificent and if you've eaten a little too much take a bracing stroll along the cliffs.

If you want to eat at peak hours, reserve or turn up early. Yes, even out of season. Fantastic shellfish, amazing views. I had stuffed clams (parlourdes) a wonderfully buttery & garlicky. Followed that with a whole crab. Eaten there many times.
