The positive was great staff. There it ends. Beef when asked how its cooked was told dark on outside pink in ther middle, came very well done and tough. Yorkshire puddings were like uncooked pancakes and the audacity to charge money for cauli cheese which...More

I met a colleague who lives in the Caribbean here for lunch and they did not disappoint. Sally our server went out of her way to look after us and we had a great meal. The Doom Bar was in excellent condition

The Curlew has had a varied and interesting history. The building was constructed in the 1800's and served as a farm mostly producing root vegetables. After gaining its license, the building became Mulligan's fish restaurant, then a themed pub and was more recently called The Manor before settling on being named after the wading bird - the Curlew.
