Don't miss out this restaurant if you are in Paris or around Boulogne-Billancourt: A cosy and modern place where we had an excellent french "Bistronomique" dinner. Nice and very professional service. We got particulary good advices concerning the wine (the wine cella is amazing). I...highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening La Grange!!!More
Excellent food prepared with loving care and attention in a warm brasserie atmosphere. Really excellent wines at very competitive prices, for example the Cotes de Rhone from domaine de Cheze. Or the different Bordeaux wines.
Exactly what you expect of a cosy French small restaurant used by many business people working in the area at noon and by lots of locals in the evening. Very well balanced manue, high quality of execution, the neccessary amount of innovationa and wines, wines,...wines... Just enjoy!More
When we arrived in the restaurant they immediately proposed to us a table. While we waited for our friends they offered to us some olives and some bread with ham; Then we ordered meals. It was delicious. I recommend this restaurant!
Visited here because I thought I was staying close by in Boulogne Billancourt however always check Googlemaps 2km away On the quay side, not a pretty location or a beautiful restaurant and no air conditioner for one of the hottest days of the year 35C...so a bit hot inside. To the place, basic furniture and decorating with lots of potential. On a main road. Staff were super friendly from the start to finish. Order the gespacho soup, spicey refreshing and cool! Hit for hot summers day Fois gras was excellent - hit Crème brulee with lavender - one of the best I have tasted in France Great Chablis to accompany, with the 20% discount was great to have dinner ashame about the location and decor but would encourage people if they are close by. We were very satisfied. We have 3 appetizers, 3 main dishes and 3 deserts. Everything was delicous. Staff, maybe owner was very fajn, but he fought with English. We also have very tasty white wine and surprisingly good beer.
Typical french restaurant, also the service. The food was stunning, I would definitely go back. Good choice of dishes; no vegetarian mains
One of the first challenges is finding this restaurant. It is situated on a very busy thoroughfare across from the Seine. It does not look like the most inviting place from the outside, but wait to you enter, meet the Chef, and are introduced to...his cooking. Unlike many restaurants, the Chef tries to talk to all of the restaurant patrons. In addition, he will take your order, ask you for feedback, and advise you on what he believes are the choices that are particularly good that day or evening. He says that he does not speak English and that is true if fluency is your metric, but he speaks enough English to help you through the menu. Also, if he does not there generally is a waitress that does speak English. I have eaten lunch and dinner here and have had several outstanding meals. The menu changes frequently and there are daily specials. The wine list is also very inviting. The restaurant is smallish, but the tables are situated to allow you to have an uninterrupted conversation. I have been taken to the restaurant twice by Parisians – which must say something of the quality of the cuisine. The prices, by the way, are very reasonable. What really stands out is the “personal” interest taken by the chef who is greeting, taking orders, and preparing many of the outstanding dishes.More
I considered giving 4 stars because the service was slow, but I have to remember dining in France is about the food and social experience. I think we were here for 3 hours. The standouts were the scallops (main) and profiteroles (dessert) had the most...amazing flavor of ice cream and not too much chocolate sauce, which is good. I would go back just for the profiteroles. This was a business dinner for my boyfriend and two of his colleagues. One of them is from France, otherwise I'm sure we would have never known to come here. We enjoyed aperitifs, white wine, salmon carpaccio, steak, crab, cognac & armagnac - I basically got a taste of everything. For some reason towards the end of the night a group of young soccer players felt it was necessary to use this restaurant for the bathrooms to freshen up. It was rude and they all stunk - I got to wait in line for 15 minutes to use the bathroom and stand next to some very ripe athletes. Thx!More
I have been to this restaurant in 2011 and 2013, same quality and service both times, highly recommend it.
The Grange is a small family run restaurant close to the Seine. It is on the other side of a busy road to the river so unfortunately there are no riverside views. The furnishings inside the restaurant are simple and despite the staff speaking no/little...English the welcome was very friendly. The menu is fixed price for either two or three courses, with a choice of 6 starters and 6 main dishes. The menu is only in French but we could work out most of it ! The foods was fairly standard French fayre eg duck, pave de boeuf, sea bass, salmon etc but was enjoyable. As you would expect, there was also a wide selection of French wines at reasonable prices Overall, a good experience, good value and I would go back if I am in the Boulogne-Billancourt area of Paris again.More
