Visited here each time I come to Mont St Michel, and it was great, professional staff, good food, and a fun atmosphere to eat in.

Not the biggest rooms in any hotel you'll stay in, but authentically charming old building and a classic landmark of Mt. St. Michel. The restaurant is famous (and a bit over priced perhaps) with its open view on cooks beating hundreds of eggs in their shining copper bowls. Spending a night here allows you to experience the best of the... More

We just happened to enter this place for lunch during our visit to le Mont St Michel. The first thing we obviously noticed were the numerous autographed portraits of the many distinguished guests who have dined at this place. their omlettes are light, fluffy and i just loved them.

Although it is a bit expensive, but it is worth it. their "omelette au feu de bois" is really exquisite!

The omelet house here is almost as famous as Mont St. Michel itself. La Mere Pollard has been stirring eggs into fluffy concoctions since 1888. The place is actually an inn, and rooms cost only slightly more than an order of eggs. The warm inside is festooned with photos of famous people who dined here, including Dwight Eisenhower, King Edward... More

Despite my booking a reservation months ahead due to a friend's recommendation, they could not find our booking & refused us. We persisted & the snippy waiter let us in, kept us waiting 40 minutes before taking our order, & was very rude the rest of the time. Apparently they were short-staffed & full. We ordered their famous omelettes which... More

Our hotel in Mont St Michele recommended this restaurant to us and said they seat until 8:30. We arrived at 7:45 and the restaurant was 1/4 full. The waiter sat a French couple just ahead of us and then told us it was full and they aren't accepting anyone else. We left to find something else but I thought I'd... More

My husband and I were recommended this Hotel and restaurant. I read the trip advisor reviews and was very sceptical but decided to go anyway. We arrived at 6.45pm and the entrance was ropped off with people lining up at the door way outside. As we were guests we stood in the hallway near the entrance. At 7.05 a waiter... More

We had our breakfast at La Mere Poulard for 2 mornings in a row. The first morning, it was very chaotic and poorly run, the food wasn't kept up in the buffet. The second morning, it was completely different! The food was hot and there was ample amounts. The coffee maker didn't work either morning, but they made sure there... More

Too expensieve, rude waitres. There are a nummer of tables free that evening, but they just sent a young familie with little children away with an announcement 'it's full', while they let another couple in. It's spoilt the evening.
