After a long journey from Bruge , I arrived tirred and hungry to MONT SAINT MICHELE I would like to eat something good on the rock island . Unfortunately I choose that one . First of all when the bread arrived to our table I saw that in the basket were slices of bread collected from deferent tables and some... More

Had dinner here while staying overnight at Mt St Michels. Maitre D was snobbish, we had to ask for napkins, had to ask for glasses for our water, had to ask three times for butter. Asked manager and waiter for more water, ignored us. To top things off the lamb was terrible, too rough to eat. The rest of the... More

To put it simply this place has the best food on the island. Prices are very reasonable and the have a good wine list and very good sweet cider. It is also nice that they are open for early dinner which many places are not.

We entered this restaurant because it had tourism of Normandy recognition and seemed to have good food. Reality was that the quality of food was terrible: garnitures ( green beans, ratatouille, bearnease sauce) were directly precooked canned low quality products. An irony that they asked how would we like the leg of lamb (a point, sagnant) when it seemed to... More

We've had one of our worst experiences here. Bad food, very bad service,... If you have a choice, try to avoid this place. No matter how hungry you are, in the end you will regret going to this place! You definitely deserved better!

Most restaurants close very early on Mont Saint Michel. So, we considered ourselves fortunate to find Auberge Saint-Pierre open. The pizza was terrible and overpriced.

I was absolutely starving after driving a few hours up through France so went to one of the first places that wasn't completely packed. Mistake. Food was very poor and overpriced. Had a pizza which must have been just taken straight out of a packet, was much smaller than I would have expected for €13. There was also a host... More

I stayed and ate here a few years ago so was happy to eat here again with my wife. We were not disappointed; once again the food and service were excellent and the atmosphere superb. Especially comforting after such a disappointing meal at La Mere Poulard. Highly recommended.

Have reviewed this under Saint-Pierre as this is the check in and restaurant for La Croix Blanc just 10 metres up the road. We stayed at the very top floor-five flights of spiral stairs. Do not bring big bags. Room was immaculate clean and tidy. You pay for the location and what a lovely location it is. The best part... More
