Service was attentive and highly efficient but somewhat imprrsonal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and arranged but lacks ambiance. The food was excellent although I had to ask for another knife as I could not cut my lamb. My husband was delighted to have Happy Birthday written on his desert. We were happy to spend the money on a special... More

In general meals here are excellent though there is a certain lack of personality in the decor and the restaurant. Bright chartreuse walls are not particularly conducive to a relaxed mood. Duck was memorable, the chocolate dessert equally so and in general I greatly enjoyed the food.

Generally good with a few minor flaws. Bar area is pleasant and the dining room spacious and organic. The lunch package with wine is good value at €57, though the crispbreads seemed to spoil what was an excellent fish starter. Mains were a generous size, and whilst my wife enjoyed her plaice, I personally didn't, but that's just my taste.... More

The Michelin star restaurant can proudly claim a high level of service, as you would expect at this level. After trying the menu composed for the season, I would say some elements on the plates served were excellent other ideas did not quite work. The meat dish of veal was well cooked, but the different elements on the plate did... More

We had dinner here at the beginning of August. My wife and I had the three course suggested menue with the wine recommendations and it was excellent. Our kids choose main course and dessert and were very pleased as well. My son thought that he got the best Entrecote ever. We all where very pleased with everything but be aware... More

Easily deserving of its Michelin star: food is innovative; service excellent, and the ambience is bright but cozy. Situated inside the countryside lodgings of the same name, this restaurant is a great reason to prolong a stay in this country retreat inside the national forest.

We live in the area but it's been several years since we last visited the restaurant at Le Manoir du Lys. We don't dine out at Michelin 2-Star restaurants on a regular basis! On this occasion we were celebrating my wife's birthday All aspects of our meal were excellent. We enjoyed an aperitif -Kir Royale- in the bar where we... More

not as good as four years ago. Average service and the food very expensive for what they served (basic meat, not expensive); Although they knew it was a 25 year anniversary dinner, they didn't acknowledge it.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a 14 day France vacation. It was a great location for day trips to Mont St Michel and Omaha Beach. The room was extremely comfortable; bed, bath which was huge and had great shower and air conditioning. We did not stay in the main building and thoroughly enjoyed our very own... More

Thank you for your very nice compliment about our Hotel. You loved to stay in the Wood Pavillon, it is great. We took note about your opinion about the price of the bar. The price is not only the drinks, it is also "amuse bouche" before dinning. We think about it. Thank you. More
