Had dinner and lunch also there. One of the best steaks I have eaten along with the sidedish. Tried the menu for lunch and not dissppointed at all. Had sea food plate amd chicken. Try the creme brulee if you visit this place 😊

Now that the season is over I was again able to grab a seat and enjoy what is becoming my go to upscale restaurant in St. Nazaire. Very nicely appointed but not overbearing, not only applies to the decor but also the food and the service. Seafood remains the focus of the menu but the three plate prix-fixe menu allows... More

Can highly recommend this small and intimate restaurant. Great service and the food was very good. Mussels, turbot and apricot tart were very tasty and we were all glad we chose Le Sabayon.

We came here for a family party of 12 to 15 persons.. We were located in a separate room which worked perfectly for our need. We were there for lunch and way pass closing time ( lunch closing time). The menu was mostly seafood but reasonably price for a 3 courses meal. Very well prepared and presented. Very Friendly atmosphere... More

Nice upscale restaurant, only a few tables with focus on sea food. They have three choices of prix-fixe menus, with one at under Euro 20 which has served me and my budget well. Well prepared and presented food, an appetizer, entree and dessert and included, with the wine, including a reasonable selection by the glass, being extra. Suggest reservations as... More

On a Tuesday evening we got the last table, most people had booked and they were turning people away. We had the E19.90 menu (3 courses) and it was excellent. There was a good choice of fresh fish, all the food was expertly prepared and presented, certainly a "restaurant gastronomique". The service was very friendly and efficient, excellent food at... Very good food, nice presented and cooked. Has the fine mixture of typical French cuisine but with new spirit. Be aware that as most of the resturants in France it is open for lunch until around 14.00, then they close until the evening.

We did a detour to find this restaurant. We were on our way south and after driving for 4 hours we had to stop and eat. My first experience of french food for years. Thw waitress was very helpfull from start to finish. The lunchtime was busy but the service was fast. I finished with the classic tart tartan and... More
