We first ate at Le Clocher 5-6 years ago, and adored it. The food is still excellent (our starters, mains and dessert were all first rate) but the restaurant fails so badly on the other aspects that I cannot recommend the place. 1) We were the only diners on a Sunday night. Not a good sign. We had reserved a... More

The place feels like it is being run by a young enthusiast with little commercial experience and poor staff. The menu is limited, the wine poor, the single waiter bordering on incompetence. Pity it used to be very good, now it is a time consuming poor experience. You would hope that they would learn and improve but having sent a... More

This restaurant promised much but delivered very little. Having been lured by the idea of a fixed menu, we were seated only to be told that the fixed menu did not apply at night. Initially we ordered a fish and a beef but changed immediately to both having fish. We received the beef and the fish but because we had... More

After have been enjoying dinner at our apartment, we wanted to be spoiled without having to do the dishes. We did not book a table, so we ended up at Le Clocher. It looked ok at the first sight. Unfortuanally we had left our dictionary at home, the meny was in pure French and the waitress could not speak a... More

The food was good above average but the wait was unacceptable. I'm happy to wait while something is cooked freshly but there is a limit, not sure if it's always like this or if they were short in the kitchen. Did not stop for a pudding too tired by then!

Chose this restaurant as the menu looked interesting & the interior welcoming. Very slow but apologetic service from the front of house man, superb food when it eventually arrived, well worth the wait. Young chef but boy can he create great dishes & all beautifully cooked to order, hence the delays. Heartily recommend this restaurant if you're not in a... More

I am offended when I chose a restaurant with a Trip Advisor label, and a Michelin label and find, after ordering dinner, that the restaurant has been open 1 week. That is what the very nice, but clearly unprepared manager told me as he apologized for the food not arriving, and for the space I sat in not fitting in... More

Excellent service from staff. Price ok. Monk-fish fish had been frozen, served too dry. Clearly resting to long after frying. Starter was good.

We ate here tonight. I have lived in France and am totally used as to what to expect. The owner was soooooo rude. We waited for 35 minutes even to be offered a menu / drink and when I queried this...in French...he made out he was doing me a favour. (He only had 6 menus). Perhaps this was deliberate to... More

We came and were disappointed. Prise/qualite is really low. Menu is 25€ entre+plat, but almost for all nice diches in menu you need to add an extra 3-5€.The kichen is nothing exeptional.
