The food was very good, the soup could have been hotter, the service was impeccable the maitre'd was very attentive making sure all was right especially for the younger ones, very tolerant! The wine list had good quality wines at reasonable prices. Overall a very good experience!

Who would think to make a sorbet out of tomato and basil, then place a little scoop in the middle of a delicious gazpacho? And who would know that diners don't like to take the heads off prawns at the dinner table? Epicurean knew! My grilled prawns with risotto was delicious as was the aforementioned gazpacho. My husband's salmon was... More

Both the food and the service were excellent. The wait staff was very professional and attentive without being stuffy. The food was excellent, we had lasagna, interesting starters, and superb deserts. Interesting decoration, be sure to check out the furniture in the bar. We'd go back again.

Recommended highly by our house proprietor and another friend, we had a lovely $21E prix fix three course. The mojito cocktail was as good as any I've ever had. Meatloaf and lasagne were both very tasty. Informed and excellent service. I'd go back.

Ate here on a quiet Monday. They offer a menu with English translations, and the quality is superb. One friend said the gazpacho was the best she had ever eaten and she travels the world. Highly recommended for those who are nervous about their command of French; order the chef's choice dessert, whatever it is. There are three levels of... More

The restaurant is a bit out of town and best reached by car. The menu offers ordinary but well prepared food in an atmosphere a bit too stylish and sometimes tasteless. When we visited the restaurant several tourist groups were present adding nine to the little charme. Be aware of the desserts, they are great and you should leave some... More

We visited l'Epicurien every day during our week stay in the Provence. Our first visit is a worth a short story. After a long motorcycle ride from The Netherlands, we arrived late in the evening at our rental house. At 9:15PM we were walking, looking for a restaurant. We were told there were two at a max. 10min walking distance... More

Food was fine, service was fine, decor fine, but nothing extraordinary. However, the prices were much higher than the quality of the food supports. Basically, this place is overpriced, but otherwise fine food. This got them three stars. They lost one more because the waiter was very pushy about dessert - he kept asking even after we told him no.... More

Today, we had a very nice lunch menu, with a Spanish style home-made quiche, tender daube de boeuf stew (since we're Belgian, we asked for French fries instead of polenta - which the staff was happy to provide), and a home-made crème caramel (which was excellent). Staff and owners are very friendly, the place is very clean and food was... More
