I ate here four times in a week during a cycling holiday based at Alpe d'Huez. Great helpings of filing food at a fair price - just what you need after a long hard bike ride

Spent our last night having a meal in here and loved it. Not sure what it's called but we had some steak on a hooked platter with salad and dauphinoise potatoes ect, it was absolutely stunning. The beef is flambéd at the table with cognac, and it tastes amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant and this dish!

If you are heading to Alpe d'Huez, please, please visit the Edelweiss. It is, hands downs, the best restaurant in the village. The atmosphere is cosy and very welcoming; the staff are attentive and provide outstanding service; the wine list is excellent, and the food... The food is amazing; so good that I went twice in a row and had... More

A lovely intimate venue for traditional local fare. Book in advance as it's small (cosy) and gets really busy. French dinner companion declared it the best gratin she'd ever tasted. Service was friendly and unfussy. Would go again if ever lucky enough to be in that neck of the Alps.

Such a standout restaurant. We went to visit on our chalet hotel's night off and it did not disappoint. Very nice setting with friendly staff. All our party had steaks and they were the best we have ever had and the dauphinois were equally as good!

We took opportunity being with family in a nearby village to come and having dinner in this very friendly atmosphere. Nice service and huge portion of cheese that we delighted as we are currently leaving out of France. Thanks to them we refueled.

We had a Christmas Day meal here and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We all ordered different meals which were excellent. The service was impeccable and help was given when deciding from the varied menu.
