Our second visit to this incredible restaurant hidden behind a pub sign!! Please don’t miss out as you will experience superb food, great service and an experience in culinary expertise that is second to none. I hate aubergines and for the life of me I...have no idea why but I chose a starter of aubergine, goats cheese and caramelised onions - OMG, it was delicious. Then Sea Bass, again cooked to perfection. A dessert of Xmas pud with date ice cream and brandy butter finished off a superb meal. I cannot recommend The Lamb enough. They normally have availability through week nights and it is a treat that we all owe to ourselves at the end of a difficult and troubled year.More

This is our second visit for Sunday lunch, this place is a real gem, food is just simply the best in the area, the young team were attentive without being too gushy, nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was first class....Thank you we will be back again. Popped into the kitchen to thank the chef, no surprise the kitchen was immaculate, well done team,.More

Wow, what an incredibly delicious meal we had at the Lamb. This is our second visit and the food is outstanding - I asked the waiter when it would get it’s first Michelin star! Reasonably priced and great friendly service, you will not be disappointed

We had a really great group meal at the Lamb. The food was outstanding. Our favourites were the pheasant starter, the venison scotch egg and the curried fish main. So nice to have such a creative and different menu. Only dish with room for improvement...was the lamb (didn't feel the quality if the cut was there - a little fatty). The rest of dish was excellent though - particularly the mini shepherd's pie! Service was great- drinks and food arrived promptly. They took the time to explain the desserts and were happy to answer any questions. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Lamb and am already planning a return visit!More

Where to begin, this place is a real hidden gem - A restaurant behind a Pub sign. An amazing dining experience from start to finish. Behind the bar was messy but the wines and cocktails were top notch. The food was perfectly cooked, well balanced...and full of flavour. Not too busy but I have no idea how?! This placed should be filled to the rafter. We will be back if holidaying in the area, as good as we’ve had in London.More

Another fantastic roast at the Lamb, still the best roast in Devon, can not fault! Lovely country setting, lovely service. We’ll be back.

Booked Sunday lunch with family and friends. Service was really slow and the food was questionnable. Not hot and the beef tasted strange to 3 of us. The waitress could not answer basic questions. The icing on the cake was the obligatory 12.5% service charge....You are nowhere near as good as you think you are!More
