Thank you for the review. I appreciate the shout out - not just a waitress - I take care of all the aspects of the business out front and leave the great steak to my business partner and chef!

We’re really sad to be writing this, but we’d read such fantastic reviews about the cote de boeuf we had been looking forward to our meal there. The waitress was lovely, very busy so it was 20 mins until we ordered anything since being sat...down. I think we’d not have minded if the beef had lived up to expectations. The fat wasn’t cooked, the steak was not cooked well (in our opinion) and difficult to eat. Looking at the reviews we must have caught it on an off night. The restaurant itself and the staff were great, just a bad steak which we’d paid a lot for.More

As both your waitress and the owner I want to express my disappointment about your recent dining experience. I could see how excited you were about your meal, but unfortunately, the cote de boeuf didn't live up to our usual standards, which is really frustrating...More

What a find this was… Highly recommend a visit and so glad we did. The food, service, ambiance and setting is perfect and after a hard day of skiing we all looked forward to our evening out and we were not disappointed. I was hoping...to sampling the fillet but sadly this wasn’t available as sold out by the time we arrived, oh well never mind there was still lots of choices and recommendations and we were not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed our starters and mains. We did book in advance and recommend doing this as it’s not a big venue and it was busy when we arrived. 5***** all the ways. Thanks for the hospitality and banter. Next time I’ll try the cheesecake!!More

This place is fabulous! Our dining experience at this cosy, alpine-style restaurant was truly exceptional. Both of us indulged in the fillet steak, expertly cooked to perfection. The owner, who also served as our attentive waitress, went above and beyond in providing top-notch customer service....Don't miss out on this gem – reservations are highly recommended, as walk-ins left disappointed.More

Insta vs reality. We arrived for our meal on time to be told our table was not ready yet and were asked to get a drink at the bar and wait. Not uncommon for a popular restaurant so we were happy to do so. Unfortunately...we’re not offered a drink and instead we’re shown out table after 15 minutes it even then, it was a further 15 minutes until a drinks order was taken. Out first choice steak was not availabe. Our first and second choice wine was not availabe. The meal was good, but not excellent as hoped. Certainly not what we anticipated from the pictures / reviews on trip advisor. The first photo is trip advisor, second photos are reality…More

I ate here last night and can honestly say it was one of the best meals I’ve had for a long time! I had the Black Pudding Scotch Egg to start, with a (perfectly cooked) sirloin for my main alongside Niurou’s homemade chips and the...leeks and greens. Every bite of the meal was delicious. The steak came with a tasty garnish too. I devoured it all! I didn’t have room for a dessert, which is a shame because there were two desserts in particular that sounded very much up my street. The restaurant looks lovely, mixing traditional wooden beams and panels with a little modern twist to create a warm, cosy atmosphere. Service was spot-on, and the owners speak both French and English very well. Very much seeking out for a really good-quality, well-cooked meal in a lovely atmosphere. I’d highly recommend booking in advance so you don’t miss out.More
