Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant was booked for us by our Chalet team and when we arrived I didn’t hold out much hope as the entrance makes it look like a pretty ordinary pub. But do not let that put you off. Go in. We were sat down...and talked through the menu and we soon realised this was some rather special food. And sure enough, it was. Everything sounded delicious and everything we ordered was excellent. The wine list is nice and as one would expect in France had nice choices across the price range. The staff were really friendly and helpful and if you arrive early or have time after, the bar is really lively and has a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend.More

Great restaurant, our favourite in Tignes . Good value for real French food. The waiting staff explain the extensive menu board to you(for French speakers as well) so it’s easy to be clear on the choices available. Lively bar in the entrance and great atmosphere...in the dining areas.More

Incredible food and service. From the moment we walked in we were looked after so well, the presentation detail is stunning. The wine list is presented in a scroll. The owner was serving us and helped us select an incredible wine. Then she brought over...the menu on a chalk board and explained all the dishes. Everything sounded amazing so it was tricky to choose. We ate the La queue de cochon starter special which was amazing. For main course i had a prawn, thai inspired dish (sorry can’t remember the spelling) which was so delicious. My husband has the pigeon which he also said was full of flavour - his favourite meal of the week. This is such a fantastic restaurant and bar - when we return to Tignes we will be back! Thank youMore

A 10’ walk from the Gare Routiere of Tignes 2100 and you arrive at this apres-ski bar with a nice cocktail card and a thematic restaurant. It offers an interesting formula at 44 Euro where you can choose a starter and a main dish more...tending to fine dining than comfort food. And that got confirmed. Nice choice of wines, also per glas. Friendly service.More

La Queue de Cochon (The Pig's Tail) is an absolute must go to restaurant in Tignes. Don't worry if you are Le Lac or Val Claret its easy to get to and there is a bus stop nearly at the door. Make the journey and...you will not be disappointed. The food is excellent, a menu unlike any other in the area, it has a great choice and while not the cheapest place to eat it is exceptionally good value given the quality of the food. Do not delay going. The block is due to be redeveloped and as a result the restaurant will be closed for a short while.More

SO NICE ! Was accepted as a last minute walk-in because someone had canceled a reservation and i was honestly not expecting this quality. The place is gorgeous and cozy, the food extremely good (we had the carpaccio and escargot as entrees and angus burger...and pork as plats) and the portions were so big. The service was also wonderful; she took the time to explain every single plate, the food was quick to arrive and in general it was such a great experience. Congrats to the chef because everything was so so tasty and beautifully presented. Will definitely be recommending it and hopefully be there again soon!More

We had the most amazing meal here! The menu was described to us in detail. Every dish sounded amazing but we decided on the swordfish tartare and pigs tail to start and then the pork knuckle and swordfish steak for main. The produce was so...fresh and everything was cooked perfectly! The meat was rich and fell apart perfectly and the fish was delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!More

Fantastic. Great retro late 60s-70s feel with brilliant atmosphere, a play list that just got the mood. Food was amazing. Michelin quality and presentation. Each menu item was described with the providence of the food. Where it came from and how it was prepared and...also great value. Hats off to the husband and wife team for what they’ve created. Highly recommended.More

We had gone to this bar a few times for après-ski because they had the best selection of drinks at only 5€ a time. As we’d taken full advantage of their après offers we thought we’d try their food. We were not disappointed, one of the...group is celiac so is difficult to cater for in a regular restaurant but even more so in a high end restaurant, which this is. Sarah not only described the menu to us all in great detail but also pointed out the items that were not suitable for the celiac, she then offered alternatives whilst still giving him the full dining experience. He has never had this level of care dedicated to him ever! We had a fabulous meal and will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff, we had a great last night.More
