We stayed here while on the King Ludwig Trail. The room itself was really lovely, fresh and spacious. The food was great (big portions!) - especially the Peppercorn Steak which was absolutely delicious! Staff were also lovely. Highly Recommend.

Rating the Postgarten / biergarten. Food and drink was perfectly fine. A few things bugged me - mainly the fine interpretation of the staff between the meaning of "stimpt" and "danke" which are apparently synonyms. Very weird decor in the bathrooms, and not appropriate for...More

Superb restaurant with friendly staff, excellent food and a lovely, quirky venue. We had a brilliant afternoon in the garden here and were gutted not to have found it sooner in our trip! If you can, go.

Even if it was closed, the friendly staff opened up the inside of the restaurant for us only, since it was completely crowded outside due to the nice weather. The wienerschnitzel was excellent and so was the weissbier. I recommend this place.

We’ve made a one day trip to Herrsching at Ammersee and had lunch in the restaurant of Gasthof zur Post. It was a good decision to reserve a table in advance as the place was full with locals since it was Easter Friday. Normally fish...More

I stayed at the hotel Post a couple of times in March and had dinner each time at their gasthof. A very friendly atmosphere and good service. The wienerschnitzel is top class - try it!

Stopped here for supper. We had been the previous evening for drinks and there was a good atmosphere. This is a busy place but despite that service was good. English menus are available. I had the smoked salmon salad which came with a baked potato...More
