Friendly welcome, huge portions and amazing beer! We ate here twice whilst in Freising, well placed and always busy! Sampled our first pork knuckle and dumplings here, and so glad we did as it was delicious!

Me and my family were taking a day and night in a nearby hotel. We were hungry but wanted something special on our stop at Freising. It could not be better than deciding to have dinner at this Bavarian restaurant. We ordered a selection of meat cooked the Bavarian way with vegetables, sauces and certainly the 'dunkles'. Though I am... More

Excellent, authentic Bavarian food. Fast, friendly service. Recommend making a dinner reservation especially on weekends.

Great Food. We had the schnitzel and a steak, and they were both delicious. For dessert we had apple strudel & apricot pancakes, another win. Recommend reservations on Fri or Sat night as the place is packed.

I've been there a few times and had everything from burger, to Schnitzel to every German delight like sausages that was on offer and I have not been disappointed. The staff can be up and down based on the crowd, but overall, the experience has ended well, all thanks to the great food.

Been reading good review on this restaurant, so I give it a try on my first day. Was staying in Munich Airport Marriot Hotel, and this restaurant is just 15mins walk (10mins if you know the road). Ordered their famous beer, Weissbrau Huber, and the price is quite reasonable. Ordered Tages S. Lendchen (as in the receipt) for myself. I... More

One of my favorite places we ate in Germany. The pork Schnitzel was yummy and I had an excellent pumpkin soup -Kürbiscremesuppe. I could eat that many more times.

Visited for the 3rd time with group of friends and always great food and service. Careful of portion size, they are huge! Strangely we had a Greek waiter with terrific banter! Our stay in Friesing is just an overnight stop before a flight from Munich, if you need an airport stay then make the effort to stay in this lovely... More
